- • Own the end-to-end credit strategy for Tilt’s Brazilian market, developing and continuously refining credit policies that drive underwriting as a competitive advantage while ensuring regulatory and operational resilience.
- • Lead the analysis of consumer financial behavior using over 250 real-time financial signals to uncover novel insights that inform credit decisioning and product innovation tailored to Brazil’s unique market dynamics.
- • Partner closely with the Data Science team to influence the design, validation, and deployment of machine learning models that translate business objectives into scalable credit risk solutions.
- • Build and scale robust infrastructure, frameworks, and control systems to manage credit programs with high quality, auditability, and resilience as the Brazilian user base grows.
- • Collaborate with Brazil-specific leadership and global Tilt teams to co-develop growth strategies, financial targets, and product roadmaps aligned with local market needs and company-wide objectives.
- • Act as a cross-functional liaison with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure credit initiatives are integrated seamlessly into broader business functions and customer journeys.
- • Share and implement transferable credit strategies across international markets (Philippines, Mexico, India, and the US) while adapting them to Brazil’s regulatory, cultural, and economic context.
- • Hire, mentor, and grow a team of data analysts and credit specialists to support expanding workloads and new product initiatives in Brazil, fostering a culture of analytical rigor and ownership.
- • Drive financial accountability by monitoring key credit performance metrics, identifying risk exposure trends, and recommending policy adjustments to optimize portfolio health and profitability.
- • Maintain deep awareness of emerging trends in fintech, credit scoring innovations, and regulatory developments in Brazil to ensure Tilt’s credit models remain ahead of market shifts.
- • Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations clearly and compellingly to executive leadership, translating complex data into actionable business insights.
- • Contribute to the global credit function’s knowledge base by documenting processes, sharing learnings, and standardizing best practices across international operations.
- • Support the launch of new credit products in Brazil by leading feasibility assessments, risk modeling, and pilot program evaluations grounded in real-time financial data.
- • Champion a data-driven culture within the Brazilian credit team, encouraging experimentation, iterative learning, and evidence-based decision-making over assumptions.
- • Ensure all credit policies and model implementations comply with local financial regulations and Tilt’s global risk standards while maintaining agility to adapt to evolving customer needs.
