• As the Head of Design (Marketing), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Mama Money's brand and user experience. You will be instrumental in elevating our design function to become a critical driver of customer trust, ensuring unwavering brand consistency, and maximizing commercial impact across all facets of the business.
• Reporting directly to the Head of Digital & Marketing, you will lead and nurture a growing team of talented designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment where creativity thrives. Your leadership will extend to managing external agencies and production partners, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all design outputs.
• This role demands a strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into compelling design strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to embed design excellence into every customer touchpoint, from digital interfaces to marketing collateral and brand communications.
• Your responsibilities will encompass developing and implementing a cohesive design vision and strategy that aligns with Mama Money's ambitious growth trajectory and evolving product offerings. You will be responsible for defining and upholding brand guidelines, ensuring a consistent and recognizable brand identity across all platforms and campaigns.
• You will oversee the creative direction and execution of all marketing-related design projects, including digital advertising, social media content, website assets, email campaigns, and offline marketing materials. This includes conceptualization, art direction, and ensuring the final deliverables meet strategic objectives and aesthetic standards.
• A key aspect of this role is championing user-centered design principles. You will advocate for user research, usability testing, and data-driven insights to inform design decisions, ensuring our products and communications resonate deeply with our target audience.
• You will manage the design team's workflow, prioritize projects, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality creative assets. This includes mentoring and developing the skills of your team members, providing constructive feedback, and fostering their professional growth.
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for establishing and refining design processes and best practices within the organization, promoting efficiency and scalability.
• You will work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to develop innovative and engaging campaigns that capture attention, drive customer acquisition, and enhance brand loyalty. This involves translating marketing briefs into visually stunning and strategically sound design solutions.
• The Head of Design will also be a key stakeholder in ensuring the visual consistency and user experience of our digital platforms, including our website and mobile applications, working closely with product and engineering teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Design Lead, Art Director, or similar senior design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful marketing campaigns and brand development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and grow a design team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business goals into effective design strategies and creative concepts.
• Excellent understanding of brand identity, visual design principles, and user-centered design methodologies.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch) and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders across different departments.
