This pivotal role is designed for a hands-on creative leader who will not only elevate our brand's aesthetic standards but also build and implement an AI-assisted content production system, working in close partnership with the Head of Creative & Content Production.   • The core mandate of this role is to drive brand consistency and creative quality at scale, moving beyond manual efforts. You will be instrumental in building modular design systems that enable speed and agility, while simultaneously integrating Artificial Intelligence into our design workflows to enhance design velocity and reduce production friction. This position is fundamentally execution-driven, focusing on tangible results and operational leverage rather than purely conceptual or campaign-focused work. Your success will be measured by the improvement in creative quality, an increase in output velocity, and a significant decrease in manual dependencies.
  • **Key Responsibilities and Areas of Accountability:**
  • **Brand Systems & Visual Standards (Primary Ownership):** You will own and continuously evolve iRestore's comprehensive visual identity system. This includes maintaining and refining layout logic, typography systems, visual hierarchy, spacing guidelines, and the overall visual language. A critical part of this responsibility is developing brand guidelines that are not just theoretical documents but practical, usable, and modular tools for the entire organization. You will ensure unwavering brand consistency across all channels, including paid media, organic social, website, email marketing, packaging, and product design. As our output grows, your role will be crucial in strengthening, not fragmenting, our brand cohesion.
  • **AI-Assisted Design Workflows (Core Requirement):** AI integration is non-negotiable in this role. You will be responsible for embedding AI tools into daily design processes for concept exploration, rapid layout iteration, generating static design variants, and adapting creative assets across different formats. A key objective is to rapidly generate numerous design variations to support A/B testing in paid media campaigns (e.g., creating 'static swarms'). You will also develop and maintain prompt libraries and structured AI workflows that can be easily adopted and reused by other designers, thereby reducing the time to initial drafts and accelerating iteration cycles across all creative surfaces. The focus here is on achieving operational leverage and efficiency through AI, not just exploring novel applications.
  • **Web & CRO Design Systems:** You will design and iterate on key website components, including the homepage, product detail pages (PDPs), and landing pages. This involves close collaboration with the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) team to build test-ready creative modules and reusable UI components that accelerate experimentation. You will leverage AI to quickly generate layout variations and mockups for testing purposes. Design decisions in this area must strike a careful balance between aesthetic elevation and demonstrable conversion performance.
  • **Lifecycle & Email Systems:** Develop modular email systems that empower the Lifecycle marketing team to operate more autonomously. This includes creating scalable frameworks for promotional campaigns, product launches, and evergreen content. You will utilize AI to generate layout variations and creative refreshes for email campaigns, reducing the need for full redesigns and increasing deployment speed without compromising clarity or brand messaging.
  • **Paid & Organic Design Support:** Create modular static systems specifically for performance creative. This includes developing visual overlays, motion templates, and graphic systems suitable for short-form video content. You will also support the design of thumbnails and hook-driven creative assets. AI will be employed to accelerate the testing of variants for paid media campaigns. While you are not responsible for media buying, your design output must directly support and enhance testing velocity.
  • **Packaging & Physical Product:** Design and iterate on product packaging and inserts, establishing scalable systems that can accommodate future product launches. You will ensure clear visual hierarchy and effective communication across all physical touchpoints. AI-assisted mockups and rapid prototyping will be used to accelerate the iteration process for packaging design.
  • **Workflow & Team Contribution:** Collaborate closely with the Head of Creative & Content Production to ensure seamless workflow integration. You will manage freelance designers as needed, maintain meticulously organized asset libraries and design systems, and ensure that brand, paid media, lifecycle, and product teams can execute their strategies efficiently without encountering design bottlenecks.
  • **What Success Looks Like:** Success in this role will be evident through strong, cohesive brand representation across all platforms, demonstrably faster design turnaround times facilitated by modular and AI-assisted systems, an increased volume of creative variants for paid media testing, reduced reliance on time-consuming, one-off design projects, high-quality web and email designs that measurably support conversion goals, and the creation of clean, scalable packaging systems that anticipate future needs.
  • **What This Role Is Not:** This role is not solely a conceptual brand-focused position, nor is it limited to campaign execution. It is deeply integrated with performance marketing efforts and requires a proactive embrace of AI tools, rather than resistance. It is also not a purely managerial role; hands-on design execution is a fundamental expectation.

🎯 Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design or art direction, specifically within Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), beauty, health, or consumer product industries.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in digital design, packaging, and performance-adjacent creative work.
  • Deep, demonstrable expertise in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.).
  • Proven experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E, ChatGPT for design prompts) into design workflows to enhance efficiency and output.
  • Experience in building and implementing modular design systems, not just creating standalone campaigns.
  • Understanding of how design principles directly impact conversion rates and customer trust in an e-commerce environment.
