📋 Description

• As Head of FP&A at Rescale Inc., you will lead the financial planning and analysis function to translate corporate strategy into actionable financial plans, drive data-informed decision-making, and ensure fiscal accountability across the organization. This role is critical to scaling Rescale’s mission of transforming engineering and scientific discovery through digital innovation.
• Day to day, you will develop and maintain detailed financial models, generate KPI dashboards, lead monthly/quarterly/annual reporting cycles, perform variance analysis, prepare board and investor materials, and identify opportunities to automate FP&A processes using AI and agentic tools.
• You will partner closely with executive leadership, the accounting team, and cross-functional business leaders to surface insights, manage the close process, and communicate risks and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in strategic financial planning for high-growth tech companies, gain exposure to AI-driven financial automation, and shape the financial backbone of a mission-driven organization at the forefront of digital engineering and HPC innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, or Computer Science); MBA or similar degree preferred but not required
• 5+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field
• Expert financial modeling skills and extensive experience conducting quantitative financial analysis
• Exceptional communication skills with the confidence and poise to engage senior decision-makers
• Experience in AI, software, software infrastructure, or cloud computing industries preferred
• Advanced Excel proficiency and fluency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, OpenAI)
• Located in the Continental US (remote-first company)
