  • • As Head of Global Partner Ecosystem at Cohere Inc., you will lead the strategic development and execution of the company’s global partner program, directly driving revenue growth through high-impact partnerships with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs), cloud hyperscalers, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and resellers. This role is critical to scaling Cohere’s commercial impact by transforming partner relationships into measurable, sustainable revenue streams that align with the company’s mission to scale intelligence for humanity.
  • • You will own the end-to-end partner ecosystem strategy, including defining resale models, setting ARR and pipeline targets, and translating GTM goals into quarterly and annual operating plans. You will lead and scale a global team of Partner Development Managers and regional Partner Managers across North America, EMEA, APAC, and the Americas, establishing performance expectations, career development frameworks, and operational infrastructure such as playbooks, success metrics, and regular cadences to ensure consistent execution.
  • • You will deepen and activate Cohere’s most strategic GSI relationships by designing co-sell programs, enabling joint solution development, creating certification paths, and investing in co-marketing initiatives. Simultaneously, you will drive marketplace and co-sell motions with cloud service providers (CSPs), aligning closely with sales and business development teams to accelerate deal cycles and expand Cohere’s reach through hyperscaler ecosystems.
  • • You will extend Cohere’s platform value through ISV, technology, and channel partnerships, developing reseller and VAR programs where channel-first motions yield the most efficient growth. You will ensure cross-functional alignment with Finance, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience to build joint GTM assets, integration certifications, and partner-ready playbooks, while representing Cohere at executive briefings, partner QBRs, and industry events worldwide.
  • • In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape one of the most strategic growth levers at a frontier AI company, gaining deep expertise in scaling partner ecosystems during high-growth, pre-IPO stages. You will refine your commercial acumen in structuring incentive-heavy partner deals, leading global teams through complex organizational hierarchies, and influencing C-suite strategy — all while contributing to the widespread adoption of AI technology across enterprises and developers globally.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 12+ years of experience in technology partnerships, channel sales, or alliances, with a proven track record of scaling a partner program to material, measurable revenue contribution — not just relationship management.
  • • Demonstrated experience owning a partner-sourced or partner-influenced revenue number at VP or senior director level, with direct accountability to the Executive team for partnership ARR.
  • • Deep expertise managing GSI relationships at a senior level, including building practices, running co-sell programs, and navigating the hierarchies of large global consulting firms.
  • • Hands-on experience with hyperscaler co-sell and marketplace programs (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including joint pipeline development and investment optimization.
  • • Experience building and leading global or multi-regional partner teams, with the ability to localize GTM motions while maintaining strategic coherence across regions.
  • • Strong commercial instincts: ability to structure partner deals, design incentive programs, and hold partners accountable to joint commitments.
  • • Executive presence and comfort presenting joint business plans at the C-suite level, both internally and with external partners.
  • • Experience scaling a partner ecosystem through a high-growth or pre-IPO stage at a technology company.
  • • Background in AI, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or enterprise software is highly preferred.
