📋 Description

• • Own and execute product marketing for Apollo’s GraphQL platform and agentic middleware products, translating deeply technical capabilities into crisp, differentiated positioning, messaging, and competitive intelligence that resonates with both developers and enterprise buyers.
• • Build and run demand-generation programs that reliably create qualified pipeline, owning the full funnel—from campaign ideation and channel mix to attribution modeling, A/B testing, and ROI measurement—while partnering with Sales to ensure every lead is nurtured and converted.
• • Lead Apollo’s website and LLM content strategy end-to-end, optimizing information architecture, SEO, and conversion paths for a best-in-class developer experience; personally write, edit, and ship high-impact web pages, technical blogs, and interactive demos that turn visitors into advocates.
• • Develop and execute a PR & AR strategy that secures tier-one press coverage, podcasts, and keynote placements, positioning Apollo as the authoritative voice on AI agent infrastructure and GraphQL; maintain relationships with analysts at Gartner, Forrester, and RedMonk to influence category creation.
• • Plan and deliver Apollo Summit and other flagship events that double as pipeline accelerators and community celebrations, owning speaker curation, content design, sponsorship strategy, and post-event nurture sequences that extend ROI for months.
• • Partner with Developer Relations to co-create community programs, open-source tutorials, and technical workshops that grow our contributor base and turn practitioners into champions; ensure every asset ladders up to core messaging and revenue goals.
• • Collaborate daily with Product and Sales leadership to align on roadmap priorities, ICP definitions, pricing changes, and enablement needs; build feedback loops so market insights directly shape product decisions and GTM tactics.
• • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team—initially as a player-coach and later as a strategic leader—instilling a culture of experimentation, data-driven decision making, and craft excellence while scaling headcount responsibly.
• • Serve as a visible evangelist for Apollo at industry conferences, customer councils, and VC panels, translating complex technical concepts into compelling narratives that inspire developers, CTOs, and investors alike.
• • Champion the use of AI tools inside the marketing stack—leveraging LLMs for content creation, predictive analytics for campaign optimization, and automation for personalized nurture—while setting ethical and brand-safe usage standards for the broader team.
• • Own the marketing budget and forecasting process, ensuring every dollar is tied to measurable outcomes and transparently reported to the executive team and board.
• • Foster a remote-first culture of curiosity, psychological safety, and rapid iteration, celebrating wins and learning openly from misses to keep the team energized and aligned.
