- • Lead the strategy, growth, and operational excellence of Emma’s marketplace channels across Brazil, including Amazon, Mercado Livre, and other key platforms.
- • Own end-to-end marketplace performance metrics including sales volume, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, and return on ad spend (ROAS) for the Brazilian market.
- • Develop and execute data-driven marketing and promotional campaigns tailored to Brazilian consumer behavior, seasonality, and competitive dynamics.
- • Collaborate with local logistics and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment, returns management, and post-purchase experience aligned with Emma’s brand standards.
- • Analyze marketplace performance data to identify opportunities for product assortment optimization, pricing strategy adjustments, and inventory planning.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace account managers and platform representatives to secure preferred placement, promotional support, and early access to new features.
- • Work closely with product, marketing, and content teams to ensure marketplace listings are optimized with high-quality imagery, localized copy, and accurate product information in Portuguese.
- • Monitor competitor activity on Brazilian marketplaces and respond with agile pricing, promotion, and positioning strategies to maintain market leadership.
- • Manage and mentor a team of marketplace specialists, providing clear goals, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- • Report directly to senior leadership on marketplace performance, risks, and growth opportunities, translating insights into actionable business plans.
- • Ensure compliance with local Brazilian e-commerce regulations, tax requirements, and consumer protection laws across all marketplace channels.
- • Coordinate with the global marketing team to align marketplace campaigns with broader brand initiatives while adapting messaging for cultural relevance in Brazil.
- • Identify and pilot new marketplace opportunities in Brazil, including emerging platforms or direct-to-consumer integrations with local retailers.
- • Drive customer retention strategies through marketplace-specific loyalty programs, review management, and personalized communication.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of Brazilian consumer trends in sleep and wellness products to inform product recommendations and marketing messaging.
- • Partner with finance and supply chain teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations on marketplace platforms.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation, testing new ad formats, listing enhancements, and promotional tactics to continuously improve marketplace performance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading marketplace operations in Brazil, with deep familiarity with Amazon Brazil, Mercado Livre, and other major local platforms
- • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and profitability through marketplace channels in a D2C or e-commerce environment
- • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data tools to track, interpret, and act on marketplace KPIs
- • Fluency in Portuguese (native or equivalent proficiency) and professional working proficiency in English
- • Experience managing and developing teams of marketplace or e-commerce specialists
- • Deep understanding of Brazilian e-commerce regulations, tax structures, and consumer protection laws
