📋 Description

• Lyrebird Health is at a pivotal moment of rapid global expansion, and we are seeking an exceptional Head of People & Culture to architect and implement the foundational people strategies and cultural frameworks that will fuel our continued growth. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to build the People function from the ground up within a dynamic, technology-driven, and impact-led organization. You will be instrumental in shaping a high-performing, scalable, and inclusive environment that empowers our team to deliver on our mission of transforming healthcare quality and accessibility through innovative technology.
• As the Head of People & Culture, you will partner directly with the CEO and the executive leadership team, providing strategic guidance and hands-on execution across the entire employee lifecycle. Your remit will span organizational design, talent acquisition and retention, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, and fostering a robust and positive company culture that aligns with our core values and supports our ambitious growth trajectory.
• You will be responsible for designing and implementing people systems and processes that are not only effective today but are also scalable to accommodate our rapid expansion. This includes developing frameworks for talent management, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent globally. You will define our approach to performance, ensuring clear expectations, constructive feedback, and opportunities for professional growth and development for all employees.
• A significant part of your role will involve shaping and nurturing our company culture. You will champion initiatives that foster collaboration, innovation, psychological safety, and a strong sense of purpose. • Furthermore, you will oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, working closely with hiring managers to attract and recruit individuals who not only possess the necessary skills and experience but also align with our company values and contribute positively to our culture. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing retention strategies to ensure we keep our most valuable team members engaged and motivated.
• This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to translate business objectives into effective people strategies. You will need to be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, influence stakeholders, and drive change will be critical to your success.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and implementing people and culture strategies within high-growth, technology-driven companies.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling HR functions from the ground up, including organizational design, talent acquisition, performance management, and leadership development.
• Strong understanding of employment law and best practices in HR, with the ability to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach.
• Experience in fostering a positive and inclusive company culture that supports rapid growth and innovation.
