  • • Are you a visionary leader with a passion for transforming cancer care and a proven ability to forge strong partnerships within the oncology space? Atlas Inc. is seeking an exceptional Head of Provider Growth to spearhead our expansion and bring our innovative, value-based care model to more oncology practices across the nation.
  • • At Atlas, we are driven by a profound mission: to deliver the type of cancer care that we all want and deserve. Founded by oncologists, for oncologists, we understand the unique challenges and opportunities within medical oncology. We empower practices with the essential staff, robust contracts, and cutting-edge toolkit needed to provide truly whole-person care. Our value-based approach is designed to align incentives, ensuring better outcomes for patients, guaranteed reductions in medical expenses for payors, and enhanced financial independence for our provider partners.
  • • As the Head of Provider Growth, you will be the primary architect and evangelist of our partnership strategy. You will serve as the crucial link between Atlas and prospective oncology practice partners, educating them on the transformative potential of the Atlas Care Model. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional business development acumen and a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, particularly within oncology.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass the entire partnership lifecycle. This includes proactively sourcing and identifying high-potential oncology practices, meticulously qualifying leads to ensure alignment with our mission and model, and guiding partners through a collaborative diligence process. You will be instrumental in negotiating complex, multi-million-dollar contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that foster long-term success.
  • • Beyond the initial partnership, you will act as a trusted, long-term advisor to our provider partners. You will be their primary point of contact throughout the implementation of the Atlas Care Model and beyond, ensuring a seamless transition and ongoing success. Your dedication to understanding their evolving needs will be paramount, providing invaluable insights that continuously refine and improve our model for their benefit.
  • • This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to market engagement. You will be responsible for building a strong presence for Atlas within the medical oncology market, establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with key stakeholders in oncology practices. Your network and ability to connect with practice leaders will be critical to realizing Atlas's ambitious growth strategy.
  • • Collaboration is key to our success. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, including product development and operations, to ensure that the solutions we offer are precisely aligned with the needs and operational realities of our provider partners. This ensures that the Atlas Care Model delivers maximum value and addresses real-world challenges.
  • • Staying ahead of the curve is essential. You will continuously monitor industry trends, analyze competitive dynamics, and leverage this knowledge to inform and refine our pursuit strategies. This foresight will enable us to adapt, innovate, and maintain our competitive edge in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
  • • You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our growth strategy. In collaboration with the SVP of Growth, CEO, and President, you will regularly review and refine our approach, ensuring that our efforts are focused, effective, and aligned with the company's overarching objectives. Your strategic input will directly influence the direction and success of Atlas.
  • • This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of cancer care. You will be at the forefront of a movement to improve patient outcomes, enhance practice sustainability, and redefine the standard of care in oncology. If you are driven by purpose and possess the skills to lead and execute, we encourage you to apply.
  • • Key responsibilities include:
  • • Leading the end-to-end provider partner business development process, from initial sourcing and lead generation through diligence, negotiation, and final contracting.
  • • Proactively networking and establishing long-term, strategic relationships with oncology practices to support and drive Atlas's growth objectives.
  • • Collaborating closely with product and operations teams to ensure our service offerings are tailored to meet the specific needs and challenges of provider partners.
  • • Staying abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to inform and optimize pursuit strategies.
  • • Contributing to the strategic review and refinement of the provider growth strategy in partnership with senior leadership.
  • • Serving as a key point of contact and trusted advisor for provider partners during and after the implementation of the Atlas Care Model.
  • • Identifying and articulating partner needs and market insights to drive continuous improvement of the Atlas Care Model and service offerings.
  • • Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospective partners, ensuring consistent progress through the sales funnel.
  • • Organizing and leveraging a sales enablement portfolio, including tools, processes, and training, to ensure the market-facing team is highly knowledgeable and proficient.
  • • Demonstrating a deep understanding of value-based care (VBC) programs and the unique challenges faced by providers in navigating payer relationships and treatment autonomy.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor's degree required.
  • • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare, with a significant focus on provider growth, strategic partnerships, or business development within the provider space.
  • • Proven track record of successfully closing complex, multi-million-dollar provider business development deals and cultivating long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • • Deep understanding of value-based care (VBC) models, including familiarity with programs like STARS and RAF, and a keen awareness of provider pain points related to payers, such as utilization management and treatment selection autonomy.
  • • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage a sales enablement portfolio, including the development and implementation of tools, processes, and training activities to enhance team knowledge and proficiency.
  • • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time to meet with prospective and existing partners.
  • • Comfort and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, with a proactive approach to change and process improvement.
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • • Existing relationships with medical oncologists and a strong network within the oncology community are highly preferred.
  • • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proven ability to proactively manage a complex pipeline of opportunities.
  • • Geographical location in the Southeast or Gulf South area is a plus.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • • Competitive salary and compensation package.
  • • Generous paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
  • • Opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to transforming cancer care.
  • • Significant impact on shaping the growth and success of a leading value-based care company.
  • • Professional development and growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization.
