- • As the first sales hire at Viktor, you will own the entire sales function from pipeline generation to closing deals and building the team that scales the motion.
- • You will carry the quota yourself initially, learning buyer objections, pricing dynamics, and sales stages before hiring and enabling future account executives.
- • You will partner directly with the co-founders to shape the sales process, forecast accurately, and bring market insights into product conversations.
- • You will build a repeatable, data-informed sales motion—defining ICP, qualification criteria, outbound/inbound strategies, and expansion tactics—turning founder-led selling into a scalable engine.
- • You will hire the first AEs, set the performance bar, and create a culture where the team outperforms the founders at scale, proving the motion works.
- • You will work in a high-trust, low-process environment where decisions are made by owners, and your impact is visible immediately—shipping in week one and talking to users on day one.
- • You will help define Viktor’s go-to-market strategy during a critical window where the product works, market demand is strong, and your actions directly shape the company’s trajectory.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years leading a team at a B2B startup selling to technical or enterprise buyers (e.g., CTOs, VPs of Engineering, heads of operations).
- • Proven ability to carry and exceed a quota—not just manage others who did—demonstrating individual contributor excellence in complex sales cycles.
- • Founder mentality: thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, builds functions from zero, and owns outcomes without relying on inherited structures or layers.
- • Comfortable selling to senior buyers, speaking their language, and holding firm on price without being bullied in negotiations.
- • Experience working in environments where founders stay close to deals and value sales as a strategic function—not tolerating it, but embracing it.
