AnyVan Inc. is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Head of Inbound Sales to join our growing team in Cape Town. - • As the Head of Inbound Sales, you will be instrumental in building and scaling a high-velocity revenue machine. You will lead, mentor, and inspire a multi-layered sales organization, including Agents, Team Leaders, and Managers, transforming them into a cohesive unit that excels at building value and closing deals with conviction. Your primary focus will be on owning the end-to-end conversion funnel, leveraging data to identify and eliminate friction points, and ensuring predictable, repeatable performance through robust systems and processes.
- • You will be the critical link between AnyVan's overarching business objectives and the day-to-day activities of the sales floor. This involves translating ambitious company goals into clear, actionable plans that your team can understand and execute effectively. Your leadership will foster a strong coaching culture, where you not only coach individual agents but also empower and develop the Team Leaders and Managers under you, ensuring they possess the skills and knowledge to drive performance and uphold high standards.
- • A core responsibility will be the meticulous management of the commercial engine. You will dive deep into the data to understand every stage of the conversion funnel – from initial lead engagement and qualification to price confidence and closing. Your analytical prowess will be key in identifying bottlenecks, whether they relate to speed-to-lead, effective discovery, or overcoming objections, and implementing swift, data-driven solutions to optimize performance and protect the bottom line.
- • You are expected to be a "Strategic Practitioner," capable of designing and implementing effective sales methodologies, such as SPIN selling or other value-based approaches. More importantly, you must be willing and able to demonstrate these methodologies live, jumping onto the sales floor to coach and inspire your team, even in the face of skepticism. This hands-on, player-coach mentality is crucial for success in this role.

- • Proven track record of successfully leading high-performing, multi-team (Agents, Team Leaders, Managers) B2C inbound sales organizations in a high-volume environment.
- • Demonstrable experience as a "Strategic Practitioner" – ability to design value-based sales methodologies and coach/demonstrate them live on the sales floor.
- • Deep data fluency and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret live dashboards, identify funnel bottlenecks, and drive real-time strategic pivots without reliance on data analysts.
- • Experience in "Coaching for Coaches" – successfully developing Team Leaders into effective performance managers who can drive standards independently.
- • A "Floor-First" mentality with a "High Care / High Challenge" leadership style, comfortable with direct feedback and driving performance with both support and accountability.
