  • • As the Head of Sales DACH (m/w/d) at SoSafe GmbH, you will be instrumental in driving our growth and establishing SoSafe as the leading provider of Human Risk Management solutions across Europe, with a specific focus on the public sector within the DACH region.
  • • Your primary mission is to lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing team of (Senior) Account Executives, fostering a culture of sales excellence and continuous skill development to consistently exceed targets.
  • • You will be responsible for steering the entire sales cycle for strategic accounts within the public sector, from initial acquisition and qualification through to solution positioning, negotiation, and final contract closure.
  • • A key aspect of your role will involve supporting your team in building and nurturing robust, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers in government bodies and public institutions, including agency heads, department leaders, IT directors, and CISOs.
  • • You will ensure rigorous sales discipline, maintaining a healthy pipeline, delivering accurate forecasts, and upholding CRM data integrity, while conducting regular deal reviews to maintain momentum and optimize closing rates.
  • • Collaboration is crucial; you will work closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Pre-Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to refine and optimize sales processes and the onboarding experience for clients in the DACH region.
  • • Embracing a scale-up mindset, you will actively contribute to the evolution and scaling of our sales methodologies, playbooks, and best practices, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across the team.
  • • You will lead by example, personally managing select high-value strategic deals to demonstrate best practices and support your team's learning and development journey.
  • • Success in the first 6-12 months will be defined by the successful ramp-up of the existing Account Executive team and full assumption of team responsibility, the establishment of a strong and predictable pipeline across the region, and a measurable increase in win rates and deal velocity through targeted coaching and process improvements.
  • • You will also play a significant role in strategically improving sales processes, forecasting accuracy, and overall sales methodology, ultimately achieving and surpassing both personal and team objectives.
  • • The role requires a deep understanding of the DACH SaaS market, particularly within a scale-up or startup environment, with a proven track record of closing complex B2B deals and navigating intricate sales cycles.
  • • You will leverage your leadership aptitude, ideally with at least one year of formal management experience or demonstrated leadership potential through career progression, to coach your team towards peak performance.
  • • Your mastery of pipeline management, forecasting, and deal coaching will be essential in guiding your team to convert opportunities into closed-won deals.
  • • A strong hunter mentality is expected, where you lead by example in identifying new opportunities and setting high standards for your own pipeline development.
  • • You must be agile and adaptable, thriving in the fast-paced environment of a scale-up, capable of navigating shifting priorities without losing sight of the ultimate goals.
  • • Proficiency with modern sales technology, including Salesforce (or similar CRMs), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI-powered sales tools, is a prerequisite.
  • • Experience within the cybersecurity sector in the DACH region is considered a significant advantage.
  • • Fluency in both German and English, with excellent negotiation skills, is required for effective communication with stakeholders across the region.
