- • Lead the sales strategy and execution for Deliveroo’s business unit across France, accountable for driving revenue growth and market expansion in a complex, three-sided marketplace.
- • Manage and develop a large field sales team of 50+ professionals, fostering a high-performing, resilient culture through coaching, mentorship, and performance optimization.
- • Define strategic priorities and annual roadmaps aligned with Deliveroo’s global objectives, making financial and operational decisions that impact the French market’s long-term sustainability.
- • Design and refine internal business processes, including the development of new reporting tools and analytics frameworks to enable data-driven decision-making and identify untapped growth opportunities.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between Deliveroo’s sales team and internal stakeholders including marketing, operations, product, and finance teams to ensure seamless cross-functional alignment.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external partners including restaurants, grocery providers, and new vertical clients to expand Deliveroo’s commercial footprint across France.
- • Actively engage in day-to-day field operations, staying closely connected to sales activities, customer feedback, and market dynamics to inform strategy and drive tactical improvements.
- • Leverage analytical insights and market data to identify trends, optimize pricing and commission structures, and prioritize territories or segments with the highest growth potential.
- • Own end-to-end performance metrics for the French sales unit, setting targets, monitoring KPIs, and implementing corrective actions to exceed business objectives.
- • Champion innovation by creating new sales initiatives and pilot programs that address emerging market needs, such as new restaurant onboarding models or grocery delivery expansions.
- • Operate in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment requiring rapid adaptation, agility, and the ability to switch between long-term strategic planning and immediate, hands-on execution.
- • Serve as a local market expert by immersing yourself in Deliveroo’s business model, consumer behavior, competitor landscape, and regulatory environment in France.
- • Share best practices and cross-functional insights with regional and global teams to elevate performance across Deliveroo’s international markets.
- • Collaborate with teams from DoorDash and Wolt as part of the global expanded organization, contributing to unified strategies and scalable processes.
- • Demonstrate strong entrepreneurial spirit by proactively identifying opportunities, taking initiative, and driving results without relying on predefined processes.
- • Promote a culture of continuous learning, curiosity, and accountability across your team, encouraging innovation and ownership at all levels.

- • Represent Deliveroo at industry events, partner summits, and public engagements to strengthen brand presence and credibility in the French market.

🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years’ experience in Sales or Consulting with a strong commercial track record
- • Proven leadership experience managing large field sales teams (50+ people)
- • Fluent in both French and English
- • Proficient with CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
- • Demonstrated ability to define and execute regional or national sales strategy
- • Strong analytical mindset with ability to drive decisions using data and insights
