  • • Own the full revenue function for a high-growth AI-powered Privacy Governance SaaS platform, leading a team of experienced AEs and BDRs with a plan to double headcount in 2026.
  • • Drive enterprise sales cycles by directly engaging CISOs, CPOs, CIOs, and VPs of Security at mid-market and Fortune 1000 companies across the entire sales process.
  • • Build and execute a proactive, self-sourced outbound pipeline—no reliance on inbound leads; the team owns its own prospecting and pipeline generation.
  • • Refine and document the end-to-end outbound sales playbook, including ICP targeting, prospecting cadences, messaging frameworks, and objection handling strategies.
  • • Close strategic enterprise deals personally while maintaining active involvement in key opportunities, earning uncapped commissions on closed deals.
  • • Lead recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of a growing sales team, setting the standard for execution and accountability.
  • • Collaborate closely with the Founder/CEO, product, and marketing teams to align sales narratives, refine positioning, and improve product-market fit.
  • • Maintain accurate, real-time pipeline visibility and deliver clear, data-driven performance forecasts and metrics to executive leadership.
  • • Operate in a hybrid model requiring 2–3 days per week in the Tysons, VA office, with full autonomy to shape commercial strategy and team culture.
  • • Champion a hunter mindset, thriving in ambiguity and motivated by uncapped commission potential, while maintaining low ego and high collaboration with leadership.
  • • Leverage deep understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, AI regulation) to articulate value and drive urgency among enterprise buyers.
  • • Build trust with C-suite security and privacy leaders through consultative selling—leading with insight, curiosity, and expertise rather than pressure.
  • • Contribute to scaling a differentiated, patented AI platform with proven deployments at Fortune 100 clients, addressing urgent enterprise compliance needs across social, web, mobile, cloud, and IoT.
  • • Shape the commercial trajectory of a company at a critical inflection point, with direct access to the Founder/CEO and influence over go-to-market strategy.
  • • Lead the hiring initiative to expand the sales team, identifying and attracting top-tier outbound-focused talent in the enterprise SaaS space.
  • • Maintain a builder mentality—creating structure, process, and scalability where none currently exists, turning early-stage momentum into repeatable revenue systems.
  • • Align with the company’s mission to make privacy simple, transparent, and easy to manage, enabling enterprises to protect customer data and build trust.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a consistent track record of closing enterprise deals
  • • 3+ years in a sales leadership role as a player-coach at a startup or fast-paced company
  • • Experience selling to CISOs, CPOs, CIOs, or VPs of Security at private-sector enterprises (not government-only)
  • • Background in data privacy, cybersecurity, identity/access management, GRC, or adjacent compliance tech strongly preferred
  • • Demonstrated ability to lead teams while staying hands-on in closing deals
  • • Located in or willing to relocate to the DC area (hybrid role requiring 2–3 days/week in Tysons, VA office)
