- • As Head of Sales, SME, North America at Airwallex, you will lead the commercial engine for the region, driving new business, account expansion, and retention while building a high-performing sales organization from the ground up.
- • You will own revenue targets, scale front-book sales teams (AEs and SDRs), design sales operating models across verticals, and personally lead executive-level deal execution with C-suite stakeholders in eCommerce, software/tech, trading, import/export, and manufacturing.
- • Airwallex is a unified payments and financial platform valued at US$8 billion, serving over 200,000 global businesses with backing from top investors like Visa, Mastercard, Sequoia, and Salesforce Ventures, operating across 26 offices with a mission to build the future of global banking.
- • In this role, you will shape product-market fit by partnering with Product, Marketing, and Risk teams, refine ideal customer profiles, and foster a high-ownership, learning-driven culture through coaching, process innovation, and talent development.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading high-growth B2B sales organizations with ownership of new business and expansion targets
- • Experience building or scaling sales teams from the ground up, including hiring, onboarding, and developing AEs, SDRs, and Account Managers
- • Strong background in sales operations, including discovery frameworks, sales methodologies, forecasting, pipeline management, and tools
- • Exceptional coaching and communication skills, with ability to attract talent, set clear expectations, and inspire performance
- • Deep customer obsession and commercial acumen, with comfort engaging C-level and VP-level stakeholders in complex deals
- • Experience selling into eCommerce, software/SaaS, trading, import & export, or manufacturing (nice to have)
