- • As the Head of Strategic Finance at Asana, you will serve as the architect of the company’s insight engine, shaping strategy by moving beyond reporting to driving financial decisions that scale revenue and optimize Go-To-Market investments at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and Sales.
- • You will own the financial and operational backbone connecting strategy to execution, including evolving the end-to-end financial model (ARR, bookings, billings, revenue, cash flow) as the single source of truth, overseeing Deal Desk for pricing governance, designing sales compensation plans, and building multi-variable revenue models that serve as the North Star for forecasting.
- • You will join a high-performing team reporting directly to the CFO, partnering with Product, Sales, and Marketing leadership to ensure every product launch, pricing shift, and marketing dollar is backed by deep financial logic and a clear path to ROI, within Asana’s office-centric hybrid culture in San Francisco (standard in-office days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday).
- • You will build and mentor a world-class Strategic Finance team, transition finance from reactive reporting to proactive "What-If" modeling, master PLG unit economics, and act as the primary financial advisor to the CRO and CMO, enabling high-stakes executive decisions with confidence while fostering innovation through data-backed insights.

- • Ability to architect "0-to-1" integrated financial models from scratch, including dynamic, driver-based revenue, capacity, and long-range planning models.
- • Expert-level command of SaaS KPIs (LTV, CAC, Magic Number, Net Retention, Payback Period) and the ability to challenge the "why" behind these numbers.
- • Experience acting as a strategic advisor to CFO, CEO, or CRO, with cross-functional influence to align GTM and Product leaders using data-backed insights.
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; MBA from a top-tier institution or CFA/CPA designation preferred.
