- • As Head of Strategic Operations at Collective Technologies, Inc., you will own the design and optimization of the company’s operational backbone, ensuring that AI-driven financial services are grounded in measurable, efficient, and scalable processes. This role is critical to transforming how self-employed individuals access enterprise-grade financial infrastructure by turning operational insights into actionable systems.
- • Day to day, you will design and refine Member Operations workflows as productized funnels, build and maintain the Operations Intelligence Warehouse, implement statistical process control, develop queuing and capacity models, encode standards into Policy-as-Code, lead prototype-to-Engineering handoffs using low-code and AI-assisted tools, and manage a small team of operations analysts and process architects.
- • You will join a mission-driven fintech company backed by top-tier investors including General Catalyst, Gradient Ventures, and QED, recognized by Forbes, TechCrunch, and Bloomberg for redefining financial services for the self-employed through an integrated platform combining incorporation, accounting, tax, and community support.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in operations research, data-driven process design, and cross-functional leadership, gaining direct impact on the scalability of AI-native financial systems while building reusable operating models and mentoring a high-leverage team focused on turning operational reality into engineering-ready solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years in operations strategy, applied operations research, industrial process engineering, or ops management at a high-volume service business, preferably in financial services, fintech, marketplace, or logistics
- • Deep SQL and data modeling skills (BigQuery preferred), with ability to write queries and design schemas independently
- • Hands-on fluency with low-code and AI-assisted application development (e.g., AppSheet, Retool, Bolt, Cursor, Claude Code)
- • Experience in workflow and process design using BPMN or equivalent frameworks
- • Strong analytics background in SPC, root cause analysis, capacity modeling, and variance analysis
- • Proven ability to translate operational insights into actionable PRDs for engineering teams
