📋 Description

  • As the Head of Talent at Anima App Ltd., you will be instrumental in shaping and scaling our high-performing team, driving operational excellence in all talent acquisition and related processes. This is a pivotal role for an individual who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, possesses exceptional organizational skills, and excels at building strong relationships. You are not just a recruiter; you are an operational leader with a deep understanding of the hiring craft and a genuine passion for building a world-class team.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to attract, engage, and secure exceptional talent that aligns with Anima's mission of delivering precision medicine. This involves owning the end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle, from initial outreach and pipeline management to offer negotiation and onboarding. You will be the guardian of our candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects our company's values and mission.
  • You will be expected to act as an operator first, demonstrating a strong bias for action and ownership. This means proactively managing candidate pipelines across diverse functions with speed, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail. In a role that is inherently ambiguous and complex, you will find satisfaction in navigating multiple priorities and making them appear effortless, transforming potential chaos into streamlined processes.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and communication skills are paramount. You will be the authentic voice of Anima, capable of passionately articulating our mission to potential candidates, agency partners, and internal stakeholders. Your ability to build rapport, foster trust, and communicate with clarity – explaining the 'why' behind decisions, lessons learned, and future iterations – will be crucial in building strong relationships and maintaining transparency.
  • A data-minded approach is essential. You will own the tracking and analysis of key talent funnel metrics, including time-to-hire, pass-through rates, and sourcing ROI. By drawing actionable insights from this data, you will drive rapid iteration on our talent strategies, identifying what works and optimizing what doesn't. You must also be comfortable receiving and acting upon direct feedback, viewing it as a catalyst for both personal and team growth.
  • You will bring deep craftsmanship to the talent function, leveraging your experience in managing end-to-end talent or operations processes, ideally encompassing both hiring and employee experience aspects. You understand the nuances of a superior candidate experience, from initial contact and expectation setting to providing constructive feedback and managing the offer stage.
  • A key part of your role will involve proactively unblocking and calibrating our agency partners, continuously improving existing processes, and capturing repeatable workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This includes a strong focus on ATS hygiene and ensuring our systems are optimized for scalability.
  • You will play a significant role in scaling our global recruiting efforts, particularly for our Engineering and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. This will involve developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent worldwide.
  • You will be responsible for employer branding initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of our careers page, amplifying team stories on platforms like LinkedIn, and coordinating with agency partners to present a compelling employer value proposition.
  • Collaborating closely with hiring managers and agency partners will be a daily activity. You will conduct thorough intake sessions to deeply understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles, ensuring alignment and efficiency in the search process.
  • You will also contribute to setting up and running robust recruiting pipelines and onboarding processes for all roles, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Running hiring events and building strong relationships with communities of top-tier sales, customer success, and engineering professionals will be part of your remit.
  • Implementing sophisticated feedback mechanisms and leveraging data-driven insights will be critical for continuously refining our recruitment processes and elevating our overall talent acquisition strategy.
  • This role is ideal for someone who is not afraid of ambiguity, process, and automation, and who can handle the emotional intensity that comes with working in a mission-driven, high-stakes environment where direct feedback is valued and deep care is a cornerstone of our culture.
  • You will be a key driver in ensuring Anima attracts and retains the exceptional individuals needed to achieve our ambitious goal of delivering precision medicine to anyone, anywhere, in under 24 hours, ultimately saving lives.

🎯 Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in Talent Operations or a similar high-ownership operational role within a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end candidate journeys, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, feedback, and offer management.
  • Experience implementing or significantly improving scalable hiring systems, such as ATS (Ashby preferred), interview rubrics, and feedback loops.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience owning or contributing to weekly hiring metrics and using data to inform process iteration.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with external partners (agencies, recruiters) and internal stakeholders across various functions.

🏖️ Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity package.
  • Opportunity to work on a mission that directly impacts and saves lives.
  • High-trust, high-ownership environment with significant autonomy.
  • Comprehensive health benefits.
  • Generous paid time off and holidays.
