📋 Description
- • Provide expert analytical and advisory support to the Office of Head Start (OHS) Central Office as a trusted liaison across multiple program divisions and stakeholders.
- • Apply comprehensive knowledge of Head Start/Early Head Start program operations, grants oversight, policy interpretation, compliance monitoring, training and technical assistance (T/TA), and data systems to support OHS mission delivery.
- • Serve as the central resource for OHS leadership and staff on Head Start Program Performance Standards, ensuring consistent understanding and application of federal regulations and operational guidance.
- • Utilize OHS data systems including Head Start Enterprise System (HSES), Grant Solutions, and other databases to track program metrics, analyze trends, and produce data-driven reports for decision-making.
- • Translate complex programmatic, fiscal, and operational data into clear, actionable insights and high-quality briefing materials tailored for senior federal leadership and external stakeholders.
- • Support the development, refinement, and standardization of operating procedures, workflows, and knowledge-management tools to enhance efficiency and quality of contract execution.
- • Identify systemic inefficiencies or policy ambiguities through analysis of incoming requests and stakeholder feedback, and recommend targeted improvements to strengthen central office operations.
- • Collaborate with OHS leadership, federal program specialists, regional office staff, and T/TA network partners to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and special projects.
- • Prepare and deliver leadership briefings, webinars, responses to information requests, and strategic communications that ensure consistent messaging on OHS priorities.
- • Maintain high standards of responsiveness, accuracy, and attention to detail while managing evolving priorities and multiple concurrent initiatives.
- • Travel up to 25% to support in-person meetings, site visits, stakeholder engagements, and training events as required.
- • Ensure compliance with federal security protocols and maintain active communication with federal contracting and administrative teams.
- • Support internal customer service functions by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries from OHS staff, grantees, and external partners.
- • Contribute to the creation of scalable technical assistance tools, templates, and guidance documents used across the Head Start national network.
