  • As a Talent Headhunting Partner at Pearl Talent, you will be at the forefront of connecting exceptional, passive talent with the most innovative startups in the US and EU. Your primary mission will be to meticulously identify, engage, and convert candidates who are not actively seeking new roles, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality talent for our clients.
  • This role is specifically designed for individuals who excel at proactive outreach and possess a deep understanding of how to attract and persuade top-tier professionals. You will operate with a clear mandate: 80% of your focus will be dedicated to passive headhunting, targeting individuals who are currently employed and thriving in their roles. The remaining 20% will be allocated to pipeline readiness and maintenance, ensuring that all engagements are meticulously documented and ready for seamless handover to our Talent Acquisition Partners.
  • Your core responsibility will be to act as a specialist in engaging and converting currently employed talent. This involves developing and executing sophisticated outbound headhunting strategies tailored to the unique requirements and seniority levels of specialized and priority roles. You will be the architect of personalized outreach campaigns, crafting compelling messages that resonate with passive candidates and pique their interest in groundbreaking opportunities.
  • A critical aspect of your role will be the initial pre-qualification of candidates. This process is designed to ensure strong alignment across several key areas: the candidate's role expectations, their compensation requirements, and their underlying motivations for considering a career move. By conducting thorough pre-qualifications, you will ensure that only the most suitable candidates are presented to our clients, saving valuable time and resources.
  • You will leverage a consultative approach to build trust and rapport with passive candidates, understanding their career aspirations and demonstrating how Pearl Talent and our client companies can facilitate their professional growth. This might involve utilizing innovative communication methods, such as voice notes or asynchronous communication, to enhance engagement and conversion rates, making the outreach process more personal and effective.
  • Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver a steady stream of high-quality, TA-ready candidates. This requires a keen understanding of market dynamics, a proactive approach to identifying talent pools, and the agility to adapt your headhunting strategies based on real-time feedback, pipeline health, and evolving client needs.
  • You will own the outbound headhunting outcomes for specialized and priority roles, taking full responsibility for the success of your outreach efforts. This includes maintaining high response and conversion rates through meticulously personalized outreach, ensuring that every interaction is impactful and professional.
  • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with our Talent Acquisition Partners to refine targeting strategies, calibrate your approach based on candidate feedback, and ensure a seamless handover of qualified candidates. This partnership is vital for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our recruitment process.
  • In addition to direct headhunting, you will be responsible for ensuring that all headhunted candidates are accurately logged and staged within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Maintaining clean, up-to-date pipelines is crucial for efficient candidate management and timely handoffs to the TA team.
  • You will also monitor candidate progress throughout the initial stages, proactively following up to prevent any drop-offs and ensure a positive candidate experience. This proactive engagement helps maintain candidate interest and commitment.
  • By focusing on passive candidates, you will be instrumental in filling roles that are difficult to fill through traditional job postings. Your expertise in identifying and engaging this often-untapped talent pool will be a significant differentiator for Pearl Talent and our clients.
  • This role is distinct in its focus. You will not be sourcing candidates who are actively job searching, managing job board postings, owning reporting logic or analytics, or conducting final interviews and making hiring decisions. Your expertise is specifically in the art and science of passive candidate headhunting.
  • Ultimately, your impact will be in building the foundational candidate pipelines that enable our clients to secure the top 1% of talent, driving their innovation and growth. 🎯 Requirements

  • Proven experience in headhunting passive, currently employed candidates, demonstrating a track record of successfully engaging individuals not actively seeking new opportunities.
  • Strong outbound and persuasion skills, coupled with a consultative approach to candidate engagement, building rapport and trust.
  • Demonstrated ability to personalize outreach at scale without sacrificing quality, ensuring each candidate feels uniquely addressed.
  • Excellent pre-qualification and alignment skills, effectively assessing role fit, compensation expectations, and candidate motivation.
  • KPI-driven mindset focused on achieving measurable results in response rate, acceptance rate, and pipeline quality.
  • Clear, professional, and compelling communication skills, capable of effectively representing premium startup brands to a discerning audience.
  • Advanced proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, including sophisticated search logic, project utilization, and InMail optimization.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with a strong preference for Workable.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Notion for organization and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Slack for real-time team communication.
