- • Manage consulting projects for mid- to large-market employers (1,000–20,000+ employees) to design and implement innovative medical, dental, life, and disability benefit solutions.
- • Drive business results through exceptional client service, retention, and strategic relationship management.
- • Lead complex client workflows including strategy development, financial evaluations, plan design, renewals, vendor placement, benchmarking, and related studies.
- • Design advanced benefits strategies in collaboration with actuarial, communication, pharmacy, and population health teams to address challenging client needs.
- • Manage end-to-end RFPs, implementations, and renewals, coordinating communication between vendors and internal teams, summarizing analysis, and developing client recommendations.
- • Analyze data and financial metrics, conduct utilization reviews, and perform peer audits to ensure accuracy and quality of benefit programs.
- • Support clients’ strategic planning by providing insights and recommendations aligned with their long-term organizational goals.
- • Review compliance and disclosure requirements, summary plan documents, and employee communications to ensure clients meet regulatory obligations.
- • Act as a trainer and mentor for consultants and analysts, building team expertise and confidence in benefits consulting practices.
- • Develop and maintain strong relationships across internal departments, client organizations, and external vendor partners.
- • Ensure timely delivery of all client deliverables with high-quality outcomes and adherence to project timelines.
- • Maintain broad knowledge of the health and benefits market to inform strategic decision-making and client advisory.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to analyze data, prepare reports, and present recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- • Obtain and maintain a Life and Health license within 90 days of hire.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required
- • Minimum 7 years of experience in employee benefits consulting
- • Life and Health license (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- • Proven ability to build strong client relationships and communicate effectively
- • Advanced analytical and financial evaluation skills
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
