- • Lead and performance manage a remote team of dietitians, setting clear expectations and holding the team to high standards of clinical delivery.
- • Conduct regular 1:1s and group sessions focused on coaching quality, patient outcomes, and professional development for health coaches.
- • Build a team culture of ownership where coaches drive their own development through structured support and accountability frameworks.
- • Lead leaders within the coaching function, aligning stakeholders and driving accountability across the AU Health Coaching team.
- • Own and define clinical standards for coaching delivery across the patient journey, establishing quality benchmarks and governance frameworks.
- • Conduct coaching audits and structured quality reviews using call rubrics and patient feedback to drive continuous improvement in care delivery.
- • Manage systemic risk and ensure compliance across health coaching operations, maintaining regulatory and safety standards.
- • Lead upskilling initiatives to enable high-quality care across existing and emerging health conditions beyond weight management.
- • Define how nutrition coaching is delivered for new conditions entering the platform, ensuring approaches are evidence-based and scalable.
- • Contribute to patient-facing content, messaging guides, and care frameworks that translate clinical best practices into scalable coaching models.
- • Design scalable systems and optimize delivery workflows across coaching teams, connecting service data to business outcomes to inform strategy.
- • Drive cross-team innovation by identifying and scaling successful coaching initiatives across the broader health coaching function.
- • Collaborate closely with product and patient operations teams to ensure the digital platform effectively supports patient outcomes.
- • Represent the nutrition and dietetic voice in cross-functional decisions during a critical phase of service expansion.
- • Use patient satisfaction data—including NPS, feedback, and retention metrics—as the primary lens to evaluate team and service performance.
- • Champion a coaching model that prioritizes depth of therapeutic relationship over volume of interactions.
- • Operate in a fast-paced digital health environment with ambiguity, making decisions with incomplete information while maintaining clinical integrity.
- • Serve as the nutrition voice in strategic discussions, influencing product development, clinical protocols, and operational design.
🎯 Requirements
- • Accredited Practising Dietitian (essential)
- • Proven experience managing or mentoring a clinical team, with preference for multi-team or functional leadership experience
- • Demonstrated skill in coaching audits, quality review processes, and governance frameworks
- • Deep expertise in motivational interviewing and behaviour change frameworks
- • Strong communication skills to lead a remote, cross-time-zone team and influence clinicians, product teams, and leadership
- • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous digital health environments with evolving priorities
