- • The Healthcare Scheduler role at Banner Health is a vital frontline position responsible for coordinating patient appointments across multiple departments, ensuring seamless access to care and contributing to an exceptional patient experience.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include answering inbound calls, scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling patient appointments; providing pre- and post-procedure instructions; verifying insurance and obtaining authorizations; managing documentation in electronic systems; and communicating with patients, providers, and internal teams via phone, email, and chat.

🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or GED equivalent
- • Minimum of 1+ years of customer service or related experience in a healthcare setting (e.g., medical office, clinic, hospital scheduling, medical assistant, receptionist)
- • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced inbound call center environment handling 50+ calls per day
- • Proficiency with computer systems, typing, and navigating multiple software platforms simultaneously (8+ windows)
- • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with a professional, service-oriented demeanor
- • Ability to work a fixed schedule (6:00am–7:00pm Monday–Friday, with potential Saturday 8am–1pm shifts) and maintain a dedicated, distraction-free workspace with reliable hardwired internet
