📋 Description

• As a Health IT Specialist in Oncology, you will identify opportunities for improvement within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to enhance patient care, access, treatment processes, and overall user experience for oncology patients and providers.
• Day to day, you will assist priority IDNs, health systems, and community oncology groups in identifying EHR gaps, problem-solve solutions, collaborate with clinicians and IT teams, conduct needs assessments, and develop and implement customer-specific plans to optimize EHR functionality across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings.
• You will work remotely (East coast hours) for Precision AQ, LLC on behalf of their client, supporting healthcare teams including physicians, clinicians, and affiliates by serving as a matrix team subject matter expert in Health IT and sharing insights with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Access, and Sales.
• In this role, you can develop deep expertise in oncology-focused EHR optimization, lead cross-functional initiatives to improve patient safety and care delivery, and influence Health IT strategy through data-driven insights and solution implementation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design, build, and/or testing of EHR software, including Epic Beacon, Oracle Health, iKnowMed, OncoEMR, or equivalent experience in health system informatics or pharmaceutical company roles
• Ability to identify gaps/barriers in EHR systems, prioritize issues, and drive resolution through problem-solving and collaboration
