📋 Description
- • Lead and supervise daily housekeeping operations across Placemakr properties in downtown Pittsburgh, ensuring all rooms and common areas meet strict cleanliness and comfort standards.
- • Conduct regular room inspections to verify adherence to Placemakr’s operational protocols and quality benchmarks for guest and resident experiences.
- • Coach, train, and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and service expectations, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- • Manage housekeeping schedules, assign daily tasks, and monitor team attendance and performance to maintain consistent operational efficiency.
- • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for housekeeping-related issues, resolving guest or resident concerns promptly and professionally.
- • Collaborate with property managers and other team leads to coordinate logistics, report maintenance needs, and align housekeeping activities with property-wide goals.
- • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed and ensuring proper storage and usage protocols are followed.
- • Lead by example by actively participating in cleaning tasks when necessary, demonstrating a hands-on approach and commitment to service excellence.
- • Uphold and promote Placemakr’s Community Norms—curiosity, accountability, and a hands-on mindset—in all interactions with team members and guests.
- • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations applicable to hospitality and residential environments.
- • Document daily operations, incidents, and team performance for review by property leadership and corporate teams.
- • Support the implementation of new housekeeping procedures or technology tools as introduced by corporate operations teams.
- • Participate in biannual in-person team gatherings as required, contributing to cross-property collaboration and company culture.
- • Maintain accurate records of cleaning logs, incident reports, and staff training completion for audit and compliance purposes.
- • Adapt quickly to changing guest volumes, booking patterns, and property-specific needs while maintaining consistent service quality.
- • Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment that encourages team engagement and retention.
- • Act as a bridge between corporate policy and on-the-ground execution, providing feedback to improve housekeeping systems and workflows.
- • Ensure all housekeeping staff are equipped with proper PPE and follow all safety guidelines during cleaning and waste disposal activities.
- • Support guest check-in and check-out processes by ensuring rooms are ready on schedule and meet all readiness standards.
- • Maintain open communication with front desk and maintenance teams to coordinate room statuses and service requests efficiently.
