đź“‹ Description
- • BJAK is at the forefront of revolutionizing insurance and financial services with a next-generation platform that prioritizes intuition, intelligence, and personalization. As the largest insurance platform in Southeast Asia and with ambitious global expansion plans, we are driven by technological superiority and product innovation. We are seeking talented, ownership-minded individuals who are eager to make a significant impact. In return, we offer unparalleled opportunities for growth, trust, autonomy, substantial rewards, and the chance to shape the future of our company.
- • As an HR Business Partner at BJAK, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, functioning as an embedded advisor and a proactive problem-solver. Your primary role will be to translate overarching business priorities into actionable people strategies and execution plans. This is crucial in navigating the complexities of a fast-evolving, global organization where standard HR playbooks may not always apply. You will collaborate closely with leaders and managers across various regions, providing them with the support and guidance needed to effectively manage performance, foster growth, and address intricate organizational challenges.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass partnering directly with business leaders and managers to enhance team effectiveness, implement robust performance management frameworks, and guide day-to-day people-related decisions. A key aspect of your role will be to translate strategic business goals into concrete people actions, covering critical areas such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance optimization, and strategic workforce planning. You will be instrumental in supporting and advising on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and practical approaches to performance conversations, and leveraging sound judgment.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute significantly to workforce planning initiatives, meticulously track headcount, and conduct in-depth people data analysis in close collaboration with our Finance and HR leadership teams. This analytical approach will provide valuable insights to inform strategic decisions. You will also play a vital role in supporting a range of talent initiatives designed to foster employee development and retention. This includes contributing to the enhancement of onboarding processes, supporting career development pathways, facilitating internal mobility opportunities, and championing learning and development programs across the organization.
- • A critical component of your role will involve leveraging people data and employee feedback to identify emerging trends, proactively surface potential risks, and recommend data-driven improvements to our HR strategies and practices. Your ability to operate effectively across multiple geographies and diverse business contexts will be essential, requiring you to adapt your approaches and solutions to meet the unique needs of different regions and business units.
- • This position offers a unique opportunity to operate at the very core of the business, rather than being positioned on the periphery of HR. You will gain invaluable exposure to complex, real-world people challenges that span multiple international markets. BJAK fosters a culture of high ownership, rapid learning, and clear progression pathways, offering significant opportunities for advancement into senior HR leadership roles. We pride ourselves on a flat, execution-focused culture where initiative and results are valued far more than hierarchical standing. In return for your dedication and expertise, you can expect competitive compensation and the chance to make a truly meaningful impact on a rapidly growing global company.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in an HR generalist or HR Business Partner role, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- • Solid foundational knowledge and practical experience in core HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and general HR processes.
- • Demonstrated ability to provide practical, business-aligned guidance to managers, focusing on solutions rather than rigid policy adherence.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of comfort operating effectively in ambiguous situations and driving clarity.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with sound judgment for navigating sensitive employee matters with discretion and empathy.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Operate at the center of the business, not on the sidelines of HR, influencing strategic decisions.
- • Gain exposure to complex, real-world people challenges across multiple international markets.
- • Experience a culture of high ownership, fast learning, and clear progression into senior HR roles.
- • Be part of a flat, execution-focused culture where initiative and impact are paramount.
- • Receive competitive compensation and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a global scale.
