HR Business Partner Generalist (Contract)

📋 Description

• • As an HR Business Partner Generalist on a contract basis, you will serve as a key support resource for AlixPartners’ Corporate Services team, assisting the People Business Partner team with day-to-day HR operations and strategic initiatives that drive employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
• • Your daily responsibilities will include acting as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries, managing employee transactions (such as transfers and leaves of absence), maintaining accurate records in internal HR systems, supporting performance management and onboarding/offboarding processes, coordinating training initiatives, and contributing to firmwide people-related projects and process improvements.
• • You will be part of AlixPartners’ Corporate Services team, which supports the firm’s people functions across locations, working in a hybrid model that requires in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday in either Southfield, MI or New York, NY, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
• • In this role, you will develop practical HR generalist expertise, gain exposure to professional services HR operations, strengthen your stakeholder management and process coordination skills, and contribute to meaningful employee engagement and inclusion initiatives while working within a values-driven, intellectually curious organization.
