• • Ondo Finance is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Operations Lead to join our dynamic, remote-first team. As a leader in the institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment product space, we are rapidly expanding and require a robust People infrastructure to support our growth. This role is pivotal in designing, executing, and continuously refining our core HR systems, compensation operations, compliance frameworks, and employee lifecycle processes. You will be instrumental in building operational excellence within our People function, transforming it into a structural advantage for the company. By partnering closely with Finance, Legal, IT, and senior leadership, you will ensure our HR operations are not only accurate and efficient but also strategically aligned to foster a high-performance organization.
• • The primary objective of this role is to ensure our HR systems operate with exceptional data integrity, are fully audit-ready, and require minimal manual intervention. You will be responsible for the seamless execution of compensation cycles, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong governance. A key outcome will be reducing the administrative burden on managers through streamlined and intuitive People processes. Furthermore, you will proactively mitigate compliance risks across all domestic and international employment requirements, safeguarding the company. Crucially, you will ensure that People data is reliable, decision-grade, and consistently informs leadership planning and strategic initiatives.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass owning and optimizing our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), benefits platforms, and payroll integrations, along with their associated data workflows. You will be the guardian of People data accuracy, integrity, and audit readiness, ensuring all documentation is meticulously maintained. A significant part of your role will involve designing and implementing scalable People processes that minimize manual effort and reduce friction for managers, thereby enhancing their experience and productivity. You will lead all compensation cycles, including the accurate calculation of merit increases, bonuses, and equity grants, maintaining comprehensive documentation and change controls to ensure compliance and consistency.
• • Furthermore, you will oversee compliant onboarding and offboarding processes, managing all documentation and lifecycle workflows to ensure a smooth and legally sound employee experience. You will collaborate closely with our Legal team to manage employment compliance across federal, state, and international jurisdictions, staying ahead of evolving regulations. A core responsibility will be producing recurring People reports, including critical metrics such as headcount, attrition rates, compensation distribution, performance trends, and promotion velocity, providing actionable insights to leadership.
• • You will proactively identify workflow inefficiencies and implement automation solutions, potentially leveraging AI-enabled tooling within established governance guardrails to enhance operational effectiveness. The development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be crucial, enabling the People function to scale effectively without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.
