- • The HR Representative serves as a key support function within the Human Resources department, providing administrative and operational assistance to employees and management across the organization. This role is essential in ensuring smooth HR operations and positive employee experiences.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting HR, payroll, benefits, and Workday-related issues; collaborating with HRIS, HRBPs, payroll, benefits, and employee relations teams; supporting talent acquisition processes; administering Workday transactions; maintaining regional HR process expertise; ensuring quality assurance; communicating clearly with stakeholders; assisting with compliance and audits; upholding confidentiality; and supporting special HR initiatives and company-wide projects.
- • The team operates within a global, inclusive, and collaborative culture at Amex GBT (American Express Global Business Travel), where colleagues find inspiration in travel as a force for good and are empowered to make an impact on the industry. The HR function supports employees across multiple countries in the region through a virtual shared service model.
- • In this role, the person can develop deep expertise in HR operations, Workday administration, cross-functional HR support, and regional compliance; gain experience in a fast-moving matrix environment; enhance communication and problem-solving skills; and grow professionally within a global organization that values inclusion, learning, and employee wellbeing.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1-3 years of professional HR, Workday, payroll, or benefits experience
- • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- • Workday proficiency (preferred)
- • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- • Ability to work independently from a home office environment
- • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
