  • • The HR Specialist - Global Support role at Deel is a critical function within the newly established 24/7 global HR team, responsible for managing urgent and time-sensitive HR operational requests across multiple regions and time zones, ensuring seamless service delivery for a globally distributed workforce of over 7,000 employees spanning 100+ countries.
  • • This role directly supports Deel’s mission to unlock global opportunity by maintaining compliance, accuracy, and responsiveness in HR operations, enabling businesses to scale smarter and more compliantly while ensuring workers are paid and protected regardless of location.
  • • Provide operational HR support for requests across multiple regions and time zones, including responding to inquiries via the HR hotline and written channels, addressing EOR and client HR-related questions with precision and empathy.
  • • Manage and execute global HR operational tasks across the employee life cycle—onboarding, offboarding, data updates, leave management, and compliance checks—ensuring adherence to internal procedures and local regulations.
  • • Monitor and manage ticket-based HR helpdesk systems, prioritizing urgent requests to meet established SLAs while maintaining high accuracy and quality under pressure.
  • • Serve as temporary operational backup for country HR teams during coverage gaps, collaborating closely with country owners and team leads to ensure continuity of service delivery.
  • • Participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving HR processes, documenting workflows, and identifying opportunities for automation or standardization.
  • • Handle ad hoc duties as assigned by the HR Experience department, contributing to team agility and responsiveness to evolving operational needs.

šŸŽÆ Requirements

  • • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in HR operations, HR shared services, or a similar HR support role
  • • Fluent in English and local language (Malay, Tagalog, or Hindi, depending on location)
  • • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as part of a 24/7 global support model
  • • Demonstrated experience working in high-volume HR operational environments
  • • Experience working in a global HR environment supporting multiple regions or countries
  • • Proven ability to manage time-sensitive HR requests and operational tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet SLAs in a fast-paced environment
  • • Experience handling HR helpdesk, HR hotline, or ticket-based support systems is highly desirable
  • • Experience with HR systems, case management tools, or HRIS platforms
  • • Must be located in one of these countries: Malaysia, Philippines, or India
