- • As an HRIS Engineer at Stripe, you will serve as a technical anchor for the Workday ecosystem, ensuring the stability, scalability, and strategic evolution of the company’s People data infrastructure. This role is critical to maintaining seamless HR operations during high-impact cycles like Annual Total Rewards, where precision and speed directly affect employee experience and business outcomes.
- • Day to day, you will architect and execute technical configurations for Workday HCM, Compensation, and Prism environments; lead annual compensation and performance cycles; provide Tier 3 support for HCM and Advanced Compensation; design and maintain compensation statements using BIRT or Workday Docs; orchestrate data flows via Workday Prism; partner with Compensation, Finance, and Talent teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions; ensure SOX compliance and security model integrity; and mentor peers while escalating risks proactively.
- • You will join Stripe’s People Systems Team, part of the People Solutions org, which operates at the intersection of technology and human experience. The team partners with Corporate Technology, Finance, Talent, and Total Rewards to build a world-class employee experience through strategy-first, quality-execution-always principles, valuing technical rigor, empathy, and nimble problem-solving.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise HRIS systems, particularly Workday HCM, Advanced Compensation, and Prism Analytics; lead cross-functional, high-stakes projects; influence Stripe’s global People technology roadmap; and gain exposure to complex financial and compliance processes in a high-growth, innovative environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in HRIS/People Systems, with at least 3+ years of deep configuration experience in Workday HCM, Reporting, and Advanced Compensation modules, including Merit, Bonus, and Stock impacting compensation review processes.
- • Proven experience working with highly confidential information and supporting critical business operations and processes.
- • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to set clear expectations with senior stakeholders and the confidence to escalate issues when necessary.
- • Proven expertise in Workday Prism Analytics, EIB, and BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools).
- • Successful track record leading the technical backend of Annual Comp/Performance cycles in a medium-to-large global enterprise.
- • Advanced proficiency in Matrix and Composite reporting, with the ability to tell a story with data.
- • Ability to lead cross-functional projects, navigating ambiguity and high-pressure timelines with a sense of urgency.
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
