đź“‹ Description
- • Serve as the trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders and line managers across Altasciences’ Kansas site and remote client groups, translating business objectives into pragmatic, high-impact HR solutions that accelerate drug-discovery timelines and improve patient outcomes worldwide.
- • Own the full-cycle employee relations portfolio: coach managers on performance, conduct objective workplace investigations (harassment, discrimination, conflict), and design corrective-action or improvement plans that protect the company, the team, and the individual while maintaining strict legal compliance.
- • Drive workforce planning, organizational design, and succession-planning initiatives—identify critical roles, map future talent needs, and build talent pipelines that reduce time-to-fill for specialized scientific roles by up to 30 %.
- • Lead annual HR programs—performance reviews, merit and promotion cycles, compensation benchmarking, onboarding, and exit processes—ensuring flawless execution, 100 % data integrity in Workday, and clear communication that keeps engagement scores above industry benchmarks.
- • Partner with Compensation, L&D, Talent Acquisition, and HRIS SMEs to craft integrated solutions: design targeted training for high-potential scientists, harmonize pay bands across newly acquired sites, and automate manual workflows that free managers to focus on research.
- • Act as a change-management catalyst during site expansions, technology rollouts, or M&A integrations; develop communication plans, stakeholder maps, and training curricula that reduce resistance and accelerate adoption within 90 days.
- • Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, DEI, time-to-productivity) to surface trends and predictive insights; present quarterly dashboards to the executive team and recommend interventions that demonstrably improve retention and productivity.
- • Champion a culture of continuous feedback and development: facilitate leadership roundtables, coach managers on courageous conversations, and embed learning nudges into day-to-day workflows so every employee grows at the pace of the science.
- • Serve as the escalation point for complex ER cases across Kansas and satellite teams; maintain meticulous documentation, partner with Legal when required, and ensure consistent application of policy across all levels.
- • Contribute to enterprise-wide HR projects—global compensation harmonization, DEI strategy refresh, or HRIS enhancements—bringing a pragmatic, site-level lens that balances global consistency with local nuance.
- • Provide ad-hoc backup coverage for HR Advisors during peak periods, ensuring seamless service delivery and reinforcing a “one HR” mindset across the function.
- • Model Altasciences’ core values—Employee Development, Customer Focus, Quality & Excellence, Respect & Integrity—in every interaction, inspiring colleagues to bring their best selves to work and to the mission of getting life-saving therapies to patients faster.
