đź“‹ Description
- • As an Implementation Manager at Sweed AB, you will be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionize the cannabis retail industry. You will own the entire lifecycle of customer implementations, ensuring a seamless transition from initial kickoff to successful go-live. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills, capable of navigating the complexities of a highly regulated market. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients during their onboarding journey, guiding them through intricate configurations, data migrations, and essential training.
- • Your core responsibility will be to manage multiple, concurrent implementations, typically ranging from 5 to 10 projects at any given time. This requires a robust ability to prioritize tasks, maintain meticulous project tracking, and ensure that every detail is accounted for. You will lead structured customer calls, setting clear expectations, driving timelines forward, and proactively preventing scope creep to maintain project integrity and client satisfaction.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves building and executing comprehensive implementation plans, complete with detailed checklists and defined milestones. Beyond execution, you will be instrumental in continuously improving these processes, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and scalability. Your proactive approach to risk management will be crucial; you'll need to anticipate potential challenges early, escalate issues with clear context, and develop effective mitigation strategies before they impact critical go-live dates.
- • Collaboration is key to success. You will work closely with various internal teams, including Support, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Account Management. This cross-functional partnership ensures smooth handoffs, efficient issue resolution, and a unified approach to customer success. As you gain experience, you will become increasingly adept at managing datasets, performing data migrations, and conducting thorough validation and accuracy checks to ensure data integrity.
- • The nature of our business, particularly within the cannabis industry, often necessitates onsite work. You can expect to travel to customer locations periodically, typically 3-4 times per month, to conduct in-person training, support go-lives, and manage high-touch implementations. This blend of remote management and essential onsite presence allows for a comprehensive and personalized customer experience.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to own high-impact implementations that directly influence the launch and operational success of our clients. You will be challenged by the inherent complexity of state-specific compliance requirements, intricate tax configurations, sophisticated POS workflows, critical integrations, and substantial data migrations.
- • Beyond execution, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our implementation processes. As we aim to scale and enable more remote delivery, you will contribute to refining implementation playbooks, standardizing processes, and elevating quality standards. This is a chance to build scalable systems and processes that will define how Sweed AB supports its growing customer base.
- • You will significantly strengthen valuable hard skills, gaining deep exposure to complex datasets, intricate migration processes, and challenging technical problem-solving. This role provides a clear, merit-based growth path, offering opportunities to expand into senior scope, mentor new team members, and contribute to future leadership initiatives within the company.
- • Ultimately, your success will be measured by on-time go-lives, accurate and complete configurations, minimal post-launch defects, high customer confidence, and the assurance that no critical details are overlooked throughout the implementation process.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3-7 years of experience in SaaS implementation, onboarding, or professional services, with direct ownership of end-to-end implementations.
- • Strong project management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, with a proven record of delivering implementations on time.
- • Excellent project time management and customer-facing communication skills, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced setting.
- • Experience with data migration, validation, and accuracy checks, demonstrating comfort with datasets.
- • Ability to travel to customer locations as needed (currently estimated at 3-4 trips per month).
- • Formal project management training or certification (PMP or similar is a plus).
- • Experience in regulated or high-complexity environments (e.g., Cannabis tech, Fintech, Healthcare, ERP, compliance/tax software, multi-location SaaS).
🏖️ Benefits
- • Comprehensive health insurance options including medical, dental, and vision.
- • Paid parental leave to support new families.
- • Paid company observed holidays for time off during the year.
- • Generous paid time off (PTO) policy for work-life balance.
