đź“‹ Description
- • As an Implementation Project Lead at AuditBoard (operating as Optro in the UK), you will play a critical role in driving customer success by managing end-to-end implementations of the company’s award-winning audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Optro’s technology delivers immediate value to clients—from Fortune 500 enterprises to high-growth organizations—by translating business needs into configured solutions that support compliance, risk management, and operational excellence. Your work directly contributes to customer satisfaction, retention, and the company’s reputation as a trusted leader in GRC technology.
- • You will own the full implementation lifecycle for Optro solutions, beginning with sales handoff and continuing through project kickoff, requirements gathering, solution configuration, user acceptance testing, training, and go-live support. Acting as the primary technical and functional liaison between clients and internal teams, you will gather and interpret customer requirements, configure the Optro platform to meet specific GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) needs, and ensure alignment with industry standards and internal controls. You will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources across small, medium, and large-scale implementations, proactively identifying risks and resolving issues to maintain momentum and quality. Additionally, you will provide training and documentation to empower client teams, facilitate smooth adoption, and gather feedback for continuous improvement of both the implementation process and the product itself.
- • You will join a dynamic, mission-driven implementation team within Optro’s broader Customer Success organization, collaborating closely with sales, product, engineering, and support teams to deliver seamless customer experiences. Optro is a rapidly scaling SaaS leader with over $300M ARR, trusted by more than half of the Fortune 500—including seven of the Fortune 10—for its innovative approach to audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec management. The company fosters a culture of customer obsession, gritty resilience, innovation, collective success, and growth mindset, where employees are encouraged to think big, learn fast, and support one another in breaking down barriers to deliver exceptional value.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in GRC frameworks and enterprise SaaS implementations while developing advanced skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and technical configuration of complex compliance platforms. You will gain hands-on experience with Optro’s cutting-edge technology, expand your understanding of global regulatory landscapes (including UK-specific requirements), and build a track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and within scope. This position offers a clear pathway to grow into senior implementation leadership, solution architecture, or customer strategy roles within a high-growth tech environment that values internal mobility and continuous learning.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, IT audit, IT compliance, or risk management, with direct involvement in implementing, configuring, or rolling out audit, risk, or compliance systems
- • Intermediate to expert Excel skills, including the ability to analyze data, build models, and support requirements gathering and gap analysis
- • Proven experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), including implementing, managing, or optimizing GRC frameworks, processes, or tools to meet organizational compliance and security objectives
- • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to connect at all levels of an organization using diplomatic influence, negotiation, and presentation techniques
- • Strong time management and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
🏖️ Benefits
- • Live your best life (LYBL) stipend: $200/month for personal wellness, learning, or lifestyle enhancements
- • Comprehensive employee health coverage (available in the UK and globally)
- • Pension plan with employer match (UK-specific retirement benefit)
- • Competitive compensation and annual bonus program tied to individual and company performance
- • 25 days of annual leave (UK standard) plus additional time off for birthdays and volunteering
- • Access to employee resource groups, team-building events, and company-wide gatherings to foster connection and inclusion
- • Opportunity to work at one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in North America, now expanding its impact in the UK and EMEA markets
