Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As an Implementations Lead at Vendpark Inc., you will play a critical role in shaping the technical deployment of innovative parking mobility solutions that transform how people interact with urban infrastructure, directly contributing to the company’s mission of digitizing access, payments, and operations in parking real-estate.
- • You will own the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for new properties—from technical scoping and requirement refinement to installation planning, vendor management, commissioning, and post-go-live sustainment—ensuring seamless integration of Vend’s hardware and software systems with existing physical infrastructure like garage doors, sliding gates, and access control systems.
- • You will collaborate closely with engineering, support, and sales teams to translate field insights into product improvements, provide accurate estimates for pricing models, and maintain the CMMS (MaintainX) to drive operational efficiency and scalability across deployments.
- • You will manage subcontractors and vendors both on-site and remotely, oversee regional spare parts inventory, conduct final wiring and commissioning checks, and troubleshoot issues in real time—either in person or via remote support—ensuring high system reliability and client satisfaction.
- • You will develop and communicate detailed installation plans using technical drafting and schematic literacy (CAD a plus), apply your knowledge of low-voltage systems, digital I/O, relay logic, and networking to ensure code-compliant, safe, and efficient installations, and continuously refine best practices as field experience accumulates.
- • You will join a mission-driven, early-stage SaaS startup led by founders with over 100 years of combined expertise in mobility, technology, and finance, where your entrepreneurial mindset and process-improvement drive will be valued as you help scale a revolutionary platform that connects parking to EV charging, micromobility, auto repair, and broader urban services.
- • You will gain deep, hands-on experience in integrating physical security and access systems with IoT-enabled platforms, build expertise in field engineering at the intersection of hardware and software, and develop leadership capabilities in managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects across diverse geographic regions—positioning you as a key enabler of Vend’s growth and innovation in the smart mobility space.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in field installations, field engineering, systems reliability, or maintenance, with proven success in managing technical deployments from scoping to sustainment.
- • Hands-on experience with wiring, low-voltage installations, conduit pulling, camera/network configurations, and physical integration of systems such as garage doors, sliding gates, and access control hardware.
- • Strong understanding of construction processes, permitting requirements, and contractor coordination, including ability to manage subcontractors and vendors effectively in person and remotely.
- • Proficiency in reading and creating technical schematics, with CAD experience considered a plus, and comfort working with digital I/O systems, relay logic, and networking fundamentals.
- • Comfortable with national travel up to 50% (typically 1–2 week trips), demonstrating flexibility and resilience in dynamic field environments.
- • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of improving processes, enhancing scalability, and taking initiative to solve problems independently.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to join an early-stage company where your work has direct, visible impact on transforming urban mobility and parking infrastructure.
- • Comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match.
- • Employee stock options, unlimited PTO, generous parental leave, and access to learning & development resources such as conferences, certifications, and professional training.
- • Flexible work environment supporting remote, hybrid, or Boston HQ-based arrangements, with trust-based scheduling and autonomy to manage your productivity.
- • Regular team-building activities including quarterly retreats, outings, and virtual hangouts to foster connection and celebrate wins in a culture rooted in boldness, empathy, accountability, and team-first values.
