- • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound leads, delivering prompt, professional, and personalized responses to businesses seeking payment solutions
- • Qualify inbound leads by accurately assessing each business’s payment needs, operational challenges, and growth goals to match them with the appropriate Mollie product
- • Own the complete sales cycle for smaller businesses, managing all stages from initial outreach through to closing the deal independently
- • Identify high-potential leads and seamlessly hand them over to Account Executives with clear, detailed documentation to ensure continuity and success in the next stage
- • Proactively engage in outbound prospecting to build and expand pipeline, complementing inbound efforts with targeted outreach to new prospects
- • Maintain precise, up-to-date records in the CRM system to ensure data integrity and enable effective sales forecasting and reporting
- • Provide actionable insights from customer interactions to Sales and Marketing teams to inform and refine acquisition strategies and messaging
- • Develop deep product knowledge of Mollie’s payment solutions to confidently articulate value propositions to businesses of all sizes
- • Navigate complex customer inquiries with agility, adapting communication style to suit varying levels of technical understanding and business experience
- • Maintain a positive, resilient attitude under pressure, consistently demonstrating energy and enthusiasm even during high-volume or challenging periods
- • Actively participate in team feedback loops, incorporating coaching and performance reviews to continuously improve communication, closing techniques, and pipeline management
- • Leverage AI tools integrated into daily workflows to enhance efficiency, prioritize leads, and automate routine tasks while maintaining a human-centered sales approach
- • Contribute to a culture of autonomy and craft by taking ownership of results, making data-informed decisions, and aligning daily work with Mollie’s long-term mission
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to ensure cohesive customer experiences from first contact to post-sale
- • Track and analyze key sales metrics to identify trends, optimize outreach strategies, and report on performance against individual and team goals
- • Embrace continuous learning by staying informed about e-commerce trends, payment industry developments, and evolving business needs across European markets
- • Represent Mollie as a trusted advisor, helping small to medium-sized businesses transition from their current payment solutions to a more scalable, dependable alternative
