Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Be the first reassuring voice for families at one of the most emotional crossroads of their lives. As an Inbound Sales Representative at A Place for Mom, you will field warm, pre-qualified leads from adult children and spouses who are urgently seeking safe, dignified senior care for someone they love. Every inbound call is an opportunity to turn fear and confusion into clarity and confidence.
- • Own a consultative sales cycle that starts the moment the phone rings and ends when a family books a tour or signs a lease at a partner community. You will conduct deep-dive discovery calls—often 30–45 minutes—uncovering medical needs, budget parameters, geographic preferences, and lifestyle wishes. Using our proprietary CRM, you will document every detail in real time while simultaneously guiding the caller through an empathetic conversation.
- • Translate complex care types—memory care, assisted living, independent living, in-home care—into plain language that any stressed caregiver can grasp. You will become the human bridge between anxious families and our nationwide network of 15,000+ vetted providers, matching each caller to three to five communities or agencies that truly fit.
- • Maintain daily production benchmarks: 60–80 inbound calls, 20–30 outbound follow-ups, and a referral-to-tour conversion rate that consistently beats team averages. Success is measured not just by volume but by the quality of the family experience; post-call surveys must average 4.7/5 or higher.
- • Work a fixed 40-hour shift that aligns with Pacific Time business hours. Schedules are published three weeks in advance and may include evenings until 8 p.m. PT and rotating Saturdays. Holiday coverage is shared across the team to ensure families never hit voicemail when they need us most.
- • Collaborate in real time with a squad of 10–12 Welcome Advisors, a dedicated Team Lead, and on-staff clinical experts. Daily huddles, weekly pipeline reviews, and monthly calibration sessions keep everyone aligned on messaging, compliance, and conversion tactics.
- • Master a four-week paid onboarding program that blends product knowledge, Medicare/Medicaid basics, consultative selling techniques, and CRM power-user skills. Graduation day is marked by your first solo call with a live family—an unforgettable milestone.
- • Leverage continuous feedback loops: call-listen sessions, AI-driven coaching insights, and peer shadowing. Top performers are invited to mentor new hires and pilot beta features in the CRM, directly influencing product roadmaps.
- • Champion the mission in every interaction. Behind every referral is a real person—your work helps adult children sleep better at night knowing Mom is safe, helps spouses stay together when one partner needs more care, and helps seniors preserve dignity in their next chapter.
- • Contribute to a culture that celebrates wins loudly and learns from losses quickly. Monthly “Mission Moments” highlight families who found the perfect fit; quarterly team off-sites (virtual or in-person) reinforce our values of empathy, integrity, and relentless improvement.
