- • Receive and inspect all inbound non-inventory shipments, including small parcels (UPS, FedEx, Amazon) and full truckloads, verifying accuracy against Purchase Orders, Bills of Lading, and Order Confirmations.
- • Report and reconcile shipment discrepancies in coordination with the Inventory Control team to ensure accurate recordkeeping and resolution of delivery issues.
- • Deliver small parcels to the correct departments, teams, or individuals within the organization in a timely and organized manner.
- • Maintain receiving areas in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring cleanliness, safety, and regulatory adherence.
- • Confirm, document, and record all received goods in ERP and inventory management systems such as NetSuite or Highjump to maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
- • Perform daily and weekly cycle counts to validate stock levels and identify variances between physical inventory and system records.
- • Track usage trends of indirect goods, identify non-moving or obsolete inventory items, and recommend adjustments to maintain optimal stock levels.
- • Collaborate with Procurement and Receiving teams to streamline inventory control workflows and improve process efficiency.
- • Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation for all inventory transactions and compliance requirements.
- • Work cross-functionally with Procurement Specialists, Operations, and other departments to suggest and implement process improvements in receiving and inventory management.
- • Communicate clearly and promptly regarding inventory levels, supply shortages, discrepancies, and operational needs to ensure uninterrupted support for business functions.
- • Demonstrate commitment to operational excellence by adhering to quality management practices and continuously seeking ways to enhance accuracy and efficiency in inventory control.
- • Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds as required to handle inbound shipments and organize storage areas.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School diploma or GED Equivalent
- • Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Highjump)
- • Strong understanding of inbound operations, inventory control, and quality management practices
- • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
