- • The Indirect Tax Associate role at NewEra Technologies Ltd. is an entry-level position focused on supporting routine tax functions, including data handling, reconciliation, and compliance for indirect taxes such as sales, telecommunications, and excise. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate tax reporting and payments, directly contributing to the company’s financial integrity and regulatory adherence.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include using accounting and Excel proficiency to reconcile indirect tax balances, organize and finalize sales data, navigate tax accounts, complete global periodic indirect tax returns, work with General Ledgers and financial statements, calculate and post tax entries accurately, and provide administrative support to the tax department as needed.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent); Associate’s degree in accounting may be considered with 2 years of relevant experience.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills required for data organization, analysis, and reporting.
- • Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is mandatory.
- • Ability to read, manipulate, and reconcile large datasets including sales registers, general ledgers, income statements, and balance sheets.
- • Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
- • Bilingual proficiency in English (required); additional language skills are a plus.
