- • Lead the development and implementation of global facilities management (FM) mission, vision, and strategy to align with Jabil’s business objectives and core values.
- • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, codes, insurance requirements, and industry best practices across Jabil’s global network of over 100 sites.
- • Drive proactive risk management initiatives focused on building safety, employee safety, and operational continuity across all facilities.
- • Provide technical leadership in evaluating, adopting, and implementing new building technologies that enhance efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- • Protect Jabil’s brand and customer reputation through rigorous building maintenance, security protocols, and control systems.
- • Establish and oversee a global energy management strategy to reduce environmental impact and optimize energy usage across facilities.
- • Manage and reduce facilities-related costs, including maintenance, utilities, and operational expenditures, while maximizing return on investment.
- • Recruit, interview, and staff global FM experts; identify team strengths and development needs; implement performance measurement systems and succession planning.
- • Coach and mentor FM leadership teams to deliver excellence in service to internal and external stakeholders.
- • Create and enforce global FM policies, procedures, and programs that ensure consistency and scalability across regions.
- • Represent FM strategy to senior leadership across functions to drive integration, accountability, and alignment with broader business goals.
- • Prepare executive briefs, rapid response summaries, and performance reports on FM initiatives, risks, and outcomes.
- • Build and maintain trusted internal relationships to influence FM policy adoption across organizational boundaries without direct authority.
- • Collaborate with Sr. Director to communicate progress, secure buy-in, and advance FM goals company-wide.
- • Serve as the central point of contact for FM-related decision-making and issue resolution across the organization.
- • Develop and maintain an external network to monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, technological advancements, and emerging FM challenges.
- • Ensure adoption of the most relevant global and regional standards, assessing their impact and securing organizational support for implementation.
- • Manage financial forecasting for FM projects and discretionary expenses including travel, tools, and software subscriptions.
- • Apply strong financial and analytical skills to determine optimal company footprint and operational efficiency.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email systems to support reporting, communication, and data analysis.
- • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity through proven change management practices.
- • Oversee global site security initiatives focused on theft reduction while maintaining respectful and ethical treatment of workers.
- • Ensure alignment of all FM activities with Jabil’s commitment to sustainability, diversity, and community impact.
