- • Develop and deploy software into production environments for federal government clients in a remote capacity.
- • Set up and maintain data validation steps to ensure accuracy and integrity of data pipelines.
- • Establish and enforce data schemas across diverse and complex data sources.
- • Design, build, and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using big data technologies including Spark and Databricks.
- • Optimize complex SQL queries and apply advanced data modeling techniques to support analytical workflows.
- • Work with large-scale data workflows exceeding 100GB in volume, handling messy and disparate data sources.
- • Implement ML and predictive analytics solutions to drive client outcomes and automation.
- • Lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers on data engineering best practices.
- • Communicate complex technical insights and project updates to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Provide strategic consulting to federal clients, aligning technical solutions with mission objectives.
- • Enforce data governance standards and drive continuous improvement in data quality and pipeline reliability.
- • Make independent technical decisions with minimal oversight, setting benchmarks for performance and scalability.
- • Collaborate across multiple stakeholders to integrate feedback and deliver custom analytics solutions tailored to client needs.
- • Support AI engineering initiatives by ensuring robust, secure, and compliant data infrastructure.
- • Maintain compliance with federal data handling and security protocols in all development and deployment activities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
- • At least 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- • Must have experience with Python, pandas, pandera, SQL, Postgres, Databricks, and Spark
- • Must have a strong Python background
- • Must have strong experience working with messy data, disparate data sources, establishing and maintaining schemas, and setting up data validation steps
- • Must have an Active Secret Clearance
