- • Maintain Bullhorn’s infrastructure SLA of 99.95%+ uptime by proactively identifying and mitigating risks before they impact production systems.
- • Serve as the escalation point for complex hardware failures and infrastructure incidents, resolving issues beyond L1 scope and developing repeatable diagnostic procedures for the team.
- • Independently manage critical production incidents, coordinating cross-functional responses across engineering, operations, and vendor stakeholders.
- • Oversee global datacenter inventory strategy and spares depot management to ensure rapid hardware replacement readiness across all sites.
- • Ensure all datacenter facilities meet operational standards through timely planning and execution of scheduled maintenance.
- • Administer Linux (RHEL/CentOS, Debian) and Windows Server environments across large-scale, distributed on-premises datacenters.
- • Manage enterprise SAN and NAS platforms including iSCSI, FCP, CIFS, and NFS, with responsibilities for capacity planning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management of storage arrays.
- • Administer server hardware platforms, chassis management systems, and hypervisor environments at datacenter scale.
- • Lead infrastructure maintenance activities within approved change management windows to uphold SLA compliance.
- • Maintain accurate, up-to-date Infrastructure Asset Management records for all global hardware assets.
- • Apply monitoring and observability tools to ensure unified visibility across on-premises and hybrid cloud infrastructure environments.
- • Independently lead medium-to-large datacenter infrastructure projects from scoping through delivery, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications.
- • Maintain vendor relationships for enterprise hardware and services, including turn-up coordination, maintenance planning, escalated troubleshooting, and RMA processes.
- • Produce high-quality technical documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, testing plans, and project plans.
- • Identify and champion operational efficiency initiatives, developing business cases and driving implementation of improvements.
- • Mentor junior team members by sharing technical knowledge and enhancing the team’s diagnostic and operational capabilities.
- • Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities to ensure 24/7 infrastructure support.
- • Travel to data centers up to 1–2 weeks consecutively, as frequently as once per quarter, to perform on-site operations.
- • Work a preferred schedule from Friday to Tuesday, with Wednesday and Thursday off.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of hardware administration, systems troubleshooting, and infrastructure engineering experience in a datacenter environment
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- • Advanced proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS, Debian) and Windows Server administration
- • Deep expertise in SAN and NAS technologies (iSCSI, FCP, CIFS, NFS) and enterprise storage array management
- • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and administration of enterprise network devices across datacenter fabrics
- • Proven experience leading infrastructure projects and maintaining vendor relationships independently
