📋 Description
- • As an Ingénieur(e) de Service Client / Senior Customer Support Engineer, you will ensure optimal performance of PerkinElmer’s analytical instruments at customer sites across France, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and the reliability of scientific solutions in healthcare, research, and industrial environments.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing instrument installations, preventive and corrective maintenance, software and hardware updates, qualification procedures, troubleshooting, documenting interventions per quality standards, informing clients of outcomes, managing spare parts inventory, ensuring tool compliance, and delivering technical training internally and externally.
- • You will join a global leader in scientific innovation with over 80 years of expertise, operating within a dedicated service network that supports commercial, governmental, academic, and healthcare clients through analytical solutions and OneSource services, emphasizing quality, safety, and environmental compliance (QHSE).
- • In this role, you will deepen your technical expertise in chromatography and material characterization, develop autonomy in managing complex field interventions, enhance client communication and training skills, and contribute to process improvements while gaining exposure to international technical standards and cross-functional collaboration.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bac+2 to Bac+5 degree in chemistry, physical sciences, materials science, physics, or electronics
- • Prior experience in an itinerant (field-based) service role
- • Professional English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) for technical training and international collaboration
- • Valid Class B driver’s license for daily customer site visits
- • Technical competence in PerkinElmer’s chromatography product range; knowledge of material characterization and inorganic analysis techniques is a plus
- • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite
- • Electrical safety habilitation (BR TBT and BT per C18-510 standard) or willingness to obtain training
