- • The Inside Broker role at Ryans Goh Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (operating as RT Specialty, a division of Ryan Specialty) is critical to supporting wholesale insurance brokers by providing technical expertise, market placement, and client service to ensure profitable and sustainable business growth.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with brokers to craft service strategies, evaluating insurance submissions, analyzing risk exposures, securing optimal quotes from carriers, managing policy documentation, generating leads through outreach, and meeting sales targets while acting as a key liaison between retail agencies and insurance markets.
- • The company is a leading wholesale distributor of specialty insurance products, specializing in property, casualty, professional lines, transportation, and workers’ compensation, known for superior execution and industry leadership.
- • The role offers opportunities to develop deep expertise in commercial insurance underwriting, risk assessment, and market placement, pursue professional designations and licensing, and grow a personal book of business through performance-driven sales targets.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in Business Administration, Sales, or Risk Management
- • 2+ years of experience in Wholesale Brokerage, Commercial Insurance Sales, or Underwriting with a Bachelor’s degree (or 3 years with a Master’s)
- • Valid State Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or Surplus Line insurance license required
- • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and ability to evaluate submissions and identify exposures
- • Proven ability to analyze risk, negotiate quote terms, and manage the placement process with carriers
- • Experience in lead generation via outbound calls and analyzing quote activity to expand business
