- • As an Inside Dealer Success Consultant at Cox Automotive, you will play a pivotal role in fostering growth and ensuring the retention of automotive dealerships within your assigned portfolio. Your primary mission will be to serve as a trusted advisor to independent automotive dealers, guiding them through the complexities of the digital automotive landscape and helping them maximize their investment in Autotrader, Kelley Blue Book (KBB), and KBB Instant Cash Offer solutions.
- • This role demands a proactive and consultative approach, focusing on identifying opportunities for revenue generation, mitigating client churn, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing creative marketing and advertising strategies tailored to each dealer's unique needs and business objectives.
- • A key aspect of your responsibility will involve cross-managing additional Cox Automotive products, services, and technologies, ensuring dealers are leveraging the full suite of offerings to enhance their online presence and sales performance.
- • You will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales revenue and retention targets, requiring a strategic understanding of the sales pipeline and accurate revenue forecasting.
- • To excel in this position, you will leverage a comprehensive suite of sales enablement tools, systems, and analytics, continuously monitoring and analyzing account performance to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- • Proactive engagement with your clients is crucial. You will conduct regular virtual business reviews, typically on a monthly basis, to discuss performance, analyze return on investment (ROI) goals, and align on future objectives.
- • A deep understanding of media buying cycles, digital marketing principles, and target demographics will be essential for providing insightful recommendations and developing effective strategies.
- • You will be tasked with planning, proposing, and executing strategies designed to generate additional business and fulfill service action plans, thereby driving dealer success and strengthening your client relationships.
- • Identifying and capitalizing on cross-sell and upsell opportunities within your portfolio will be a critical function, aimed at maximizing revenue and minimizing client cancellations.
- • Utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data to provide actionable insights to dealers will empower them to make educated business decisions and optimize their operations.
- • You will act as a strong advocate for your assigned dealers, particularly during the implementation and onboarding phases of new solutions, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- • While focusing on client success, you will also be responsible for responding to and routing customer issues to the appropriate internal resources, ensuring timely resolution.
- • Effective communication is paramount. You will regularly communicate account and sales information to management, the Business Development team, and the broader Dealer Success team, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- • Daily utilization of Salesforce is required to meticulously manage client interactions, update business opportunities, and maintain accurate account information, ensuring data integrity for reporting and analysis.
- • You will also play a role in ensuring that billed revenue is collected within the designated time frame, contributing to the financial health of the organization.
- • This remote position supports clients in Texas, and preference will be given to candidates residing in the Eastern or Central time zones, allowing for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- • The role involves a small amount of travel (approximately 5%) to meet with clients or attend industry events, providing opportunities for in-person relationship building and market engagement.
