đź“‹ Description
- • As an Inside Sales Account Manager at Worldwide Holdings Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing sales opportunities within the clinical research organization (CRO) space. This remote, U.S.-based position is essential to building a robust pipeline that supports Business Development teams in securing new clinical trial sponsors and partners. You will be the frontline ambassador for Worldwide’s mission to improve lives through innovative, high-quality clinical research services.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include partnering closely with Business Development and Marketing teams to align on territory-specific goals, leveraging marketing campaigns and initiatives to inform outreach strategies. You will actively source new sales opportunities through a balanced mix of inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email sequencing, and social media engagement via platforms like LinkedIn.
- • You will continuously maintain and expand your database of target accounts, prospects, and opportunities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system to support forecasting and pipeline visibility. This includes tracking key metrics such as touchpoints, response rates, and conversion milestones across the sales funnel.
- • Achieving quarterly and annual lead generation goals is central to your success, with performance tied to specific outcomes such as the number of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) generated, meetings secured, and RFPs successfully converted into won projects under the company’s sales incentive compensation plan.
- • Building authentic rapport with prospects will be a core competency—you will engage through personalized phone calls, tailored email sequences, and strategic social outreach to understand client needs, educate on Worldwide’s therapeutic expertise, and position the company as a trusted partner in clinical development.
- • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders including project managers, medical directors, and regulatory experts to gather insights that strengthen your value proposition and ensure accurate representation of Worldwide’s capabilities in Phase I-IV clinical trials across indications such as oncology, neurology, and infectious diseases.
- • The Inside Sales Account Manager role offers significant growth potential within a mission-driven, global organization. You will develop deep expertise in the CRO and life sciences industries, refine advanced sales techniques, and gain exposure to complex, multi-national clinical trial opportunities that contribute to breakthrough therapies.
- • Over time, you will have the opportunity to evolve into a full-cycle sales role, mentor junior team members, or specialize in high-value therapeutic areas, all while working remotely with a collaborative, inclusive team that values innovation, integrity, and patient impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- • Proven experience in inside sales, sales development, business development, or lead generation—preferably within the CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sectors.
- • Demonstrated success in lead nurturing, qualification, prospecting, and appointment setting, with familiarity managing sales cycles in complex, consultative environments.
- • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms, along with proficiency in sales automation tools such as Outreach, SalesLoft, or HubSpot.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey scientific and technical concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- • Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas, targets, and performance metrics in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans with flexible spending accounts (FSAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs) to support your well-being and that of your family.
- • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions to help you build long-term financial security.
- • Generous paid time off (PTO) including vacation, sick leave, and company-observed holidays, promoting work-life balance and mental wellness.
- • Remote work flexibility with a stipend for home office setup and ongoing connectivity, enabling productivity from any location within the U.S.
- • Professional development opportunities including access to LinkedIn Learning, industry conferences, and internal training programs focused on sales excellence and life sciences knowledge.
- • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering confidential counseling, legal, and financial support services at no cost.
- • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) through employee resource groups (ERGs), inclusive hiring practices, and a culture where all voices are valued and respected.
