- • As an Inside Sales Representative (Account Executive) at Top Hat Monocle Inc., you will drive the future of education by building relationships with professors and converting them into clients through the company’s innovative teaching platform.
- • You will own and manage a defined territory of colleges and universities, identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while representing the full suite of Top Hat’s products, including digital textbooks and SaaS solutions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating deals, collaborating with Customer Success and internal teams, and ensuring a seamless customer experience that maximizes revenue and product adoption.
- • You will work within a mission-driven, remote-first culture that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth, with the opportunity to engage with emerging technologies like generative AI and make a tangible impact on educational outcomes.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales role, with prior experience selling to professors or in higher education strongly preferred.
- • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, cold calling, discovery, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing of complex deals.
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively position Top Hat’s value proposition to academic stakeholders and build lasting relationships.
- • Experience operating in a metrics-driven environment, with resilience and positivity when handling objections and feedback.
- • Self-motivated, achievement-oriented mindset with the drive to exceed targets and grow both personally and professionally.
