- ā¢ The Inside Underwriter role supports a team by identifying, soliciting, and arranging appropriate insurance coverage for clients through binding authority and brokerage markets, playing a critical role in ensuring clients receive tailored, compliant, and competitively priced insurance solutions.
- ā¢ Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the underwriting process for new and renewal business, submitting information to brokerage markets for non-binding authority accounts, making underwriting decisions, solving complex coverage problems, cultivating carrier relationships, negotiating terms, approving endorsements, monitoring account compliance, maintaining documentation standards, and upholding licensing requirements.
- ā¢ TIH Insurance Services, LLC operates as part of CRC Group, a leading national wholesale insurance brokerage specializing in excess and surplus (E&S) and specialty lines, serving retail agencies with expert underwriting and market access.
- ā¢ In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in specialty underwriting, develop advanced risk assessment and negotiation skills, build influential carrier partnerships, and contribute to compliance and audit readiness while growing professionally within a structured, supportive organization.
