  • • As an Institutional Account Manager II at Coinbase, you will be at the forefront of driving economic freedom by managing and nurturing relationships with our most valued institutional clients. This pivotal role sits within the dynamic Sales, Trading, and Prime organization, where you will serve as a subject matter expert on Coinbase’s comprehensive suite of institutional products. Your primary objective will be to deliver unparalleled service and support, ensuring our clients successfully navigate and leverage the power of the crypto and blockchain ecosystem.
  • • You will independently manage key client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor. This involves a high degree of autonomy in understanding and addressing client needs, fostering deep partnerships built on trust and mutual success. Your ability to proactively identify opportunities and challenges will be crucial in maintaining client satisfaction and retention.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve addressing client escalations with promptness and professionalism. You will be responsible for investigating issues, coordinating with internal teams, and communicating important updates to Account Management Leadership. This ensures that all client concerns are handled efficiently and effectively, maintaining Coinbase's reputation for exceptional service.
  • • You will be instrumental in enhancing the overall client experience. Collaborating closely with a dedicated team, you will contribute to the development and execution of strategies that provide a best-in-class experience. This includes supporting partner management, prioritizing client initiatives, and ensuring seamless execution across all Institutional teams, from onboarding to ongoing support.
  • • Developing deep product and workflow expertise is essential. You will gain a thorough understanding of Coinbase’s multi-product client workflows and strategies. This knowledge will empower you to guide institutional clients, helping them to successfully adopt and maximize the utility of Coinbase’s innovative product suite, thereby driving their business objectives.
  • • You will expertly manage a diverse range of client requests. This involves triaging incoming inquiries, efficiently prioritizing issues based on urgency and impact, and escalating complex matters to the appropriate subject matter experts when necessary. Your organizational skills and ability to discern critical issues will ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
  • • Contributing to demos and sales support will be an integral part of your role. You will have the opportunity to participate in prospect and client demo calls, observing and developing your product knowledge. By assisting sales teams as required, you will gain valuable insights into client acquisition and the sales process, further solidifying your understanding of the institutional market.
  • • Acting as the voice of the client is a critical function. You will be responsible for collecting, structuring, and synthesizing client feedback for internal teams, including Operations, Engineering, and Product. This feedback loop is vital for identifying bugs, reporting incidents, and uncovering opportunities for product enhancements, directly influencing the future development of Coinbase’s offerings.
  • • This role demands a proactive, client-centric approach, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, ownership, and a relentless drive for client success. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of diligence, empathy, and a bias for action, embodying Coinbase's mission and values in every interaction.
