- • The Instructor Manager (Insurance) is responsible for supporting the growth of the Insurance business through the delivery of instruction, including hiring, training, managing, and engaging a team of excellent instructors. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality educational experiences for students in insurance-related courses and directly contributes to Kaplan’s mission of delivering best-in-class education through innovation and collaboration.
- • Day to day, the person will directly manage teachers to ensure excellent standardized delivery for classroom courses, coaching calls, and InstructorLink; collaborate with Classroom Operations on instructor selection and class assignments; analyze instructor evaluations, student feedback, and metrics to support performance and development; provide feedback, professional development, and training opportunities; accurately manage payroll for direct reports; serve as the primary point of contact for instructor concerns; work with the Teacher Recruitment Team on hiring needs, interviewing, onboarding, and training; collect and share content feedback with the product team; communicate product updates to instructors; participate in client calls with Sales and Customer Engagement when academic expertise is needed; and occasionally teach classes based on business priorities.
